I've read countless reviews about how bad the service here was. Even with all the ⚠️ I gave this place a shot... After trying it: Telling everyone to run away!!
A) They charge for hot oil and ginger. When did ginger become a commodity? B) Too many reviews say they have bad customer service. C) Most of the food doesn't look that great to begin with.
Customer service: When I first called here, the lady rushed me off the phone and hung up on me. I called back, and she had to tell me, "What do you want?" rushed me off the phone attitude. Then, when I came up there to pick up my food and she saw me in a suit, she was all "thank u so much for coming by" when it was time to pay.... Pfft.
Food: Most of the food was utterly terrible. I got some uncooked chicken dumplings, which were bland in the inside served with no dumpling sauce. The Beef Lomein -I had to bring back home and had my wife recook it because the beef was stinky. It didn't have enough salt, veggies, or even the right noodle type. Who uses flat egg noodles for lomein? The egg drop soup had way too much sodium. If your soup tastes better than your dumpling and you claim to be the 'Dumpling King' in your name, then this restaurant definitely deserves to...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews but today I had to. I called in my order(s) before hand so we can pick up the food on our lunch break and when I got there the food was not even put into the system. I had to repeat all orders again and wait for the food to be ready. It took literally my WHOLE 1 hour lunch break to wait for the food. Also, I am not sure if she is the manager but the cashier with a yellow shirt today was very rude and impatient. She was also rude on the phone when I was calling in the orders. I asked her to wait a second while I confirmed if one of my co-workers was okay with paying extra for soup and the cashier literally said “I have a lot of customers. I cannot wait, let me know if you want it or not when you come”.after that I asked her to repeat my order since she was not understanding me since she does not understand English apparently. She got the orders right so I don’t understand why my orders weren’t put in. This is ridiculous, this is not the way to treat paying customers!!!! The food is good, all I wanted was to eat on my break and I didn’t. The cashier really needs to be spoken to because she doesn’t know how to...
Read moreWe dined in and it was a pleasant experience. I got to know it was a family owned place. They served us jasmine tea which was really nice, a change from water and ice cubes that is served in most of the places. Menu is simple and easy to understand.
Turnaround time from order to food was fairly quick, food looks to be freshly prepared. Veg steamed dumplings tasted really good. Pan fried chicken dumplings was a miss , the taste didn't match with our taste pallette. Chicken corn egg drop soup was good and warm. Crushed white and black pepper available at the table should you need to mix with soup. Chilli oil and soup tasted really nice.
Cashew chicken did justice to its name loads of cachew and chicken. Really nice.
Veg noodles was very well prepared. Crispy broccoli was well appreciated by the kids.
Chicken fried rice which is a test for every single Chinese restaurant due to its limited ingredients was a big hit on our table. Good portion size.
Eggplant dish tasted very good.
Overall - Neiche place. Good food. Affordable price. Excellent portion size. Highly...
