This is a somewhat new location near Galleria, I've been wanting to give it a try but it wasn't until today that I stopped by. Got some fried cat fish, shrimp, and chicken tender, along with garlic butter corn on the cob. I am pleasantly surprised this was one of the best fried food experience I've gotten in years. The cornmeal batter was seasoned nicely, and the fry job was just perfect. Both the fish and chicken tender were crispy on the outside but still tender on the inside. No dirty oil aftertaste, I find this so rare now a days... Corn on the cob tasted good too, probably cooked with some crawfish seasoning, very garlicy and very buttery. The shrimps however were underwhelming, tasted just like every other places that serves fried shrimp. Price wise I think it was on the higher end, 2 pieces fish with 3 shrimp was $12 I think, definitely not cheap eat but the quality is there I think. I will definitely come back to try the...

First time great!! Lucy was awesome!! Second time I went 10/01/22 and purchased almost $80.00 worth of food and 2 fried rice were missing. So I called to let them know. I was not expecting anything, the manager came on the phone and was very polite but then said he was going to check the camera and I waited on the phone for a while. He came back very apologetic but told me that I was wrong. That's not how you treat treat a customer. I should have checked my order before I left but the bags were already tied up. I told him did not want anything but did not appreciate being called a liar over food. He said I am sorry but I got what I ordered he hope I get better service elsewhere. I have been ordering from this location since the day after the opening in November 2020. I’ve been a consistent customer because the food is really good. I would have given five stars based on the taste & quality of the food and the customer service alone, however, I am disappointed with the fact that something that I order each time, is lacking in quantity. I’m sure that a half of pound of shrimp is NOT eight shrimp! Any other time I have ordered the 1/2 Shrimp Combo, I am full once I finish eating. As of now, I am wanting more. The quantity is DEFINITELY lower than the several times before. Also, the corn & potatoes were definitely undercooked. I couldn’t bite into either.
