1. the place looks kind of dingy which makes it look dirty

2. did ya use plastic wrap as a customer/CSR divider?

3. your fridges are too loud and there was a lot of condensation fogging up the glass. Couldn’t really appreciate the pretty little cakes.

4. price marking your wrapped products would be most appreciated.

5. time of service took too long for what we ordered.

6)we ordered tortas cubanas and were greatly disappointed. The ham was sliced real thick (about the size of a nickel), which might not be a problem to some, but personally I feel like the flavor over powered.. everything. the amount of pork added was too sad to even mention an amount. And it wasn’t even shredded This sandwich costs 8 when at most it should probably be 5 dollars. In other words: I don’t feel as if I got my monies worth. I think the bread was good, though. It’s like a flat French bread.

6. the woman serving on the counter looked absolutely unfriendly. To be honest I almost turned to leave the moment I saw her come out, but I love trying out small businesses, so I decided to stay.

As someone who lived in Miami for 30 years and entire family being Cuban, this place is pretty legit. The pastries are wonderful. My favorite being the "senorita blanca" or what's often referred to as a napoleon (i prefer the white with powered sugar but they have dulce de leche as well). My only points for improvement are that the sandwiches are not great. I had a pan con bistec today (cuban steak sandwich) and it was really tough, bread was soggy since the steak was so hot it damped the bread. The cuban bread is good but if it's not kept warm, it turns into a baseball bat overnight. They would possibly consider some heating lamps in that case to keep it nice and soft. This is unacceptable. I am in no way associated with the CCP but being an asian amid the rising hate crimes against my community, I can't help but feel attacked when I came across a poster like this at a food serving establishment. I'd assume you don't have many asian customers and you wouldn't care less about it but it's making people feel uncomfortable. When you put out a poster like this, you are putting a target at the back of every Asian looking person. You are encouraging hatred towards people that look asian because there is no way one can tell who is a CCP communist...
