Snowflakes Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

TLDR: Donuts were dry, customer service rushed us and got our order wrong :( Go to Queen Donut - it's worth the drive!

Came here on a Saturday morning to try it out since we live very close and pass it often, and honestly wish we would have just passed by it again today. When ordering, the person at the counter started rushing us to give our order as if there was a massive crowd behind us instead of one other person. After we paid, he realized he didn't add on a couple of donuts and made us write in a tip for that amount. When we returned home, we realized we were missing 2 things we ordered, so hopefully we didn't pay for those! Hoped the taste would be worth it, but no. The donuts taste like they are a day old.

I just left this place and absolutely adored the customer service. Even though they close pretty soon (12PM, it’s currently 11:15AM), I was greeted by the kindest and most respectful gentleman, Mr. Mak. He was patient with me while I looked over all their choices (honestly it all looked so good and my indecisive self was struggling to not buy the rest of their inventory). Their prices are also very affordable. I purchased 3 jumbo kolaches, 3 specialty donuts, a dozen mixed donut holes, an energy drink, and a soda for $17!! I've lived in the neighborhood my entire life but I never gave it a try. I'd always see it, but never had a time to go and grab something. However, during the pandemic, I was always going to sleep at around 9-11 AM.

It would be about 5 AM when I decided I wanted to sate a craving for donuts and give this place a try. It's now almost a year later and I always drop by at least once a month to get two breakfast burritos, half a dozen chocolate donuts, and half a dozen glazed for my nieces.
