Taco Bell — Restaurant in Houston

DO NOT APPLY to work here. This location has had "Now Hiring" signs since opening day and never took them down. After coming in for an interview I understood why. The hiring manager, John, literally laughs at you and doesnt take the interview seriously. I told him over the phone I had no restaurant experience; he tells me to come in for an interview anyway. He then tells me they dont hire inexperienced people and laughed. If this is how he treats candidates I can imagine he treats actual employees much worse, hence why they constantly have people quitting. Havent been back since John wasted so much of my time for his amusement. edit: I just remembered another employee, perhaps a supervisor, apologized to me about John. I've been going to this location ever since it opened up. Food and service have always been good. Today I ordered food from the app (using credit card) to pickup through the drive thru. I pull up to the drive thru window and ask if I can get change for a $20. The cashier says they can't do that. I don't understand because I purchased food through the app so I had given the establishment my money. It's not like going to a gas station, using their restrooms, and not purchasing anything. Was I supposed to go back around through the drive thru and purchase their cheapest item in order to get change for my $20? For a large chain establishment that does get a lot of business, I don't see how they don't keep enough change on hand....

Visit regularly but this was the last time. The drive through cashier is extremely rude. I spoke with the manager previously and was given a random free burrito. Today we ordered through the drive thru, go to the window and wanted to add two tacos for my grandson before paying for the complete order We were told No. No?! What do you mean. She replied you have to go back through the line. I said for two regular tacos. She said you should have ordered it back there.
