I have been a regular at this Starbucks location for the past few weeks, going at least once per day if not twice. Someone in the drive thru has gotten the order or size wrong a few times. The girls that work there are nice and get the drink orders correct but there is one guy there who is not very friendly and doesn’t seem to make the drinks quite the same and they do not quite taste right. Today I ordered a drink and food in the app with the intention of having it there and being able to use the restroom before my 40 minute drive home. When I arrived there were 3 or 4 customers dining at tables inside but the doors were locked and there were hand written signs posted on the windows saying that the lobby was closed and only the drive thru (which had about 12 cars in line) was open (even though there were clearly customers dining inside and it was only 1:30 in the afternoon). I called the store and very politely told the guy who answered I had mostly ordered the food and drink to be able to have it there and use the restroom and asked if I could at least use the restroom after prepaying and spending so much on my order to do so, and the fact I am a regular and spend quite a bit of money at this location. The guy inside could clearly see me and recognize me as a regular but he was very dismissive and told me “Once the doors lock we have no way to open them, you can go to another Starbucks and they will make your order” but the next neatest one is 20 minutes away and way out of my way, and the doors are not automatically locking doors they require a human with a key to lock and unlock them. They were not over capacity, they had customers inside and on the patio there was no apparent good reason for them to close the lobby but you would think for us much as I spent on that order they would at least let me use the restroom, (which isn’t in the lobby) or even be nice or apologetic. Terrible and rude customer service. I never even got my order which had not been made yet and he wouldn’t even give me a refund or...
Read moreA welcome addition to the burgeoning City Park neighborhood. I walked in during grand opening. Obviously they were pretty busy, but I had someone greet me and talk to me in a friendly manner as soon as I got to the register. Small touches can make someone frequent one coffee shop over another, so positive experience there. Nothing special about the menu. This is a Starbucks.
Lots of plug outlets for charging your laptop along the wall. Somebody was walking around wiping down the tables, so I hope they keep that up. Inside is relatively spacious, and there are a lot of tables including two group tables. No lounge chairs, sofas, etc, but maybe at some point?
Outdoor patio was well shaded at 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a sunny spring day. I didn't want to sit out there though, as there is a bit of construction going on across the street right now.
Wifi was not yet working and music was not yet playing, but I think they're still getting their legs under them, so I can't quite fault them for that. I'll check...
Read moreI have gone to this location 6 times this past 2 weeks, and every time, my simple order has been made incorrectly. I order a vente iced caramel macchiato upside down with soy milk and a line cup with caramel drizzle. They forgot to line the cup with caramel and didn't put any caramel for that matter today. Then, I got regular milk instead of soy milk, which made me sick for that day and the next. They forgot to do it upside down and more. 6 times in a row, I've gone and paid for 1 drink to be made the way I want it, and they've gotten the order wrong every time. It says it correctly on the sticker that's on the cup, and it hasn't been right 6 times. I was excited for this location to open up down the street from my house, and I still have to drive to main to get my coffee made correctly. It's disappointing. This coffee isn't even filled up all the way like it usually is....
