Food is good and the prices compare to those of a dine-in restaurant. They have a variety of tacos, burgers, as well as a breakfast menu. The reason I’m giving this place 3 our of 5 stars is for two reasons...
The approximate wait time when placing an order is NEVER accurate. Even if you walk up and place your order, they take a minimum of 20 minutes just to prepare your food. That’s without it being crazy and hectic during the peak hours. This is definitely the longest I’ve ever had to wait at a food truck before. If you’re planning on going during your lunch break at noon, place your order by 11:15 am - 11:30 am.
I’m not easily grossed out by an isolated incident. In fact, I always give the benefit of the doubt. However, when the isolated incident happens twice in a week, it becomes a habit. I have found small strands of hair in my food. I would recommend hairnets for all employees but the hairs are small and I have no doubt they would slip through the net. I have thrown away almost $25.00 in food simply because of these incidents. When Ive called to complain or get some resolution, nobody answers or they do not take it seriously. I draw the line somewhere. Unfortunately, I visit other trucks up and down...
Read moreI went for some tacos, they were not great. But worst of all, my less than 1 year old had a slight spit up, while we were dinning in, and the cook started to make disrespectful comments about how people only go to places to make a disorder. I asked him if he was referring to me and my family, and he said no. So I had plan to let it go, untill he continued to talk to a cashier near by and decided to stand next to me and my family and continued to make comments about how people are messy and only make disorders everywhere they go. I was already cleaning the area to think this place would talk smack to their customers instead of offering help. This place has no value for customer service!!!! The whole visit the cook was in the back, and only decided to come to the lobby to have a conversation with his cashier when my family had a slight accident and then cowardly deny he talking about us! Don't go hear. The place right next door is 100 % better. I have a video as proof, but I don't think the cook is the owner. If he is this place, it lacks any...
Read moreThese guys have 3 locations with this name in Houston. This would be the second one I've been to. This one is by the Hobby Airport. There are tons of taco trailers on this street, but I went here first because I've had their food from the I-10 location. The biggest difference is that this location is a brick-and-mortar building and the other is a food trailer. It's small but it does offer indoor seating and A/C, which you need. This menu is the same all around. The best part is that the food was great and pretty consistent with what I had at the I-10 location. I had the tacos al pastor with flour tortillas. I never get flour but I might have to start. I've been stuck on corn for so long and I don't know why. These were packed full, and very tasty. But what I like about this place is the gorditas. They are corn and then fried on the grill till they ooze cheese. Probably not the healthiest thing for you, but that's not why you are here. You are...
