Taqueria Campo Azul (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

The Tacos Campos Azul special comes with a perfectly thin slice of avacado. Add a squeeze of lime, some salt and salsa Verde and it's a beautiful thing. Highly recommend. Wish they would buy a truck full of gravel and fill in the pot holes in the parking lot... but then again, you never see anybody driving too fast either.

My $9 tacos came w tin foil of grilled onions and small tiny jalapenos, side of tasty charro beans, 3 cups of various salsas (red green and orange), a lot of sliced limes and the 4 tacos came with more than normal meat, a lot of coachella cheese and fresh nicely chopped up so fine onions and cilantro on the side.

All the young ladies working in the truck were laughing and having fun and it made me smile... such great food, good value and only positive things to say about this Taco truck.

I was surprised to see some bizarre negative reviews but because the truck is open until 4am, I think some of those reviews must be people who had too much to drink and hangry. The review about a man's pubic hair in her food is silly. If your ghetto eyelash fell off into you taco, don't exaggerate and claim it was a man's pubic hair and tell a story about how you were supposed to get free food the next time. So ghetto. But if the food is so good that you can't get enough and can't afford it, I suppose some will feel the need to invent...

I ordered 16 corn tacos for my family and 1 elote I paid $18 and was given $2 change back. I went home and gave tacos to my hubby son and daughter when I noticed I was short 2 tacos. While everyone is eating I call to tell this lady who answered that I didn't get 2 tacos. She told me to bring my order back up there. I tell her my family already started eating and she tells me I shouldn't have let them eat but bring the order back. WHAT? THEY'RE HUNGRY. I tell her that the bag was still short tacos. I was given 4 foils with tacos and there wasn't 16 tacos. She basically told me oh well so they basically stole my money and shorted me two damn tacos. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN since that's how they operate. As many times as I've been there I've never been short tacos but I also never purchased that many tacos at one time surged. NEVER AGAIN...

Wasn't impressed on the first visit. Second visit was about the same. Third visit sealed the deal. I'll never go back. The beef fajita tacos aren't that great. No real flavor and chunks of grissle/cartilage. I asked for lettuce on the 6 tacos and had to pay $3 more. A head of lettuce isn't even $3.... You'll give me onions, tomatoes , and cilantro for free , but charge for the lettuce? No thanks. The chicken fajitas aren't that great either.... The trash cans are close to the tables where you can sit and eat , so the flies make it not worth sitting. I ate in my truck. There's plenty of taco trucks around as well as Mexican restaurants , so skip this place. It's just not...
