The hype was overkill. We got a to go order for our first experience here. The order took 10+min. longer than the expected time frame after confirmation of curbside. We had to call to verify they received word. The order was carefully packed, properly labeled and complete. The Margaritas were refreshing. The chips and red salsa were fresh but bland and under seasoned as was most of the food. (It did have a nice fire roasted flare to it.) I am left questioning if they had a green sauce, how it'd taste but didn't see any on the menu. The Queso Blanco with Chorizo was very nice. The refried beans were exactly that. Everything we ate was played safe. The Barbacoa taco was under seasoned and killed by onions. (Surprisingly there was no lime to hit it with.) The red sauce was very watery and did nothing to elevate the tacos however the green jalapeño sauce was warming and had a nice essence to it. The Pollo Guisado was rushed as the Pollo itself was a little dry and needed longer to cook. I wouldn't tag these two tacos as "things you must try before you die", unless that statement is as used in general as literally, not boastfully. I feel both are way over priced. The pork belly taco was tasty but the meat was very tough. The Carne Guisada taco was very nice and had a touch of char to it that was perfect. The Tater taco was excellent. Overall there are a number of inconsistencies that could be remedied easily but as of now the menu is a...

[UPDATE: MARCH 2019 I have continued to come to this tacos a go go despite my below review. I feel that the time has come to update the star rating here. I have since had countless breakfast tacos and the percentage of the time that my breakfast is correct is higher than it is wrong. I'm talking 98% of the time it's correct. Again the staff has always been nice and helpful otherwise. As for the entrees I'm still slightly unlucky but another source swears his entree tacos have always been on point.

Also they have some good coffee not bitter, not too strong, but smooth dark coffee. Also decaf if that's your thing.

So updating from a two 🌟 🌟 to a four 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟]

I wish I could give this place a better rating. But Everytime I get an entree taco it's just not right. It's room temperature or missing ingredients.

I actually frequent this place for breakfast but how hard is it to mess up a breakfast taco, really? Still they often leave off the extra items I paid for and I have to go back to the counter to get the rest of my items so I can put them on the taco. At least my eggs come out hot.

Besides not getting the food perfect they do have really good customer service. I actually enjoy the counter folks and their cheerfulness.

Just check your order and be sure to speak up if it's incorrect...

This place has some of the best tacos, I have never had pork belly tacos and honestly I thought I wasnt going to like it, but damn! The pork belly tacos were delicious, they also have some of the best Al Pastor I have ever tasted so far, but that's my opinion, you definitely should try it for yourself.

The atmosphere is great, the staff is super friendly and checks on you to make sure your food is awesome and you are comfortable. The pricing is a bit steep, but! Again in my opinion the food is worth the price.

I recommend the Al Pastor, Pork Belly (If they still have it available) and the Barbacoa as your first tacos to try. In addition to their tacos, their salsa game is on point, if you like spicy go for the diablo salsa it's got just the right amount of kick, but not to spicy where you cant enjoy the flavor. The heat only last a couple minutes as well, but will certainly leave you with a runny nose lmao.

Of course you have to have a drink to wash it all down with, their Pineapple soda is legit and pairs perfectly with the tacos, of course they do have other flavors as well as tea and beer. Hope this review helps in your...

5/5 stars for casual dining . . The one time I was disappointed management corrected. Nice neighbourhood vibe, without kids running amock rvice is outstanding,. This is a first choice in Oak Forest/Garden Oaks. Casual yes great food and service. This location is above and beyond. Keeps getting better. Rose and whole team going all out to serve and provide great food. My vegan requests are no problem here. Magenta’s that are tasty. A first choice in Oak Forest/ Garden Oaks. This place keeps getting better. Update-went for take-away . Can’t come In without a mask, social distancing they got it right I went into try the vegan chicken tacos. They were tasty. The standout is the service, Rosie, Gloria, are amazing but the whole crew is great they go above and beyond wether it's making sure your meal.is right or helping redeem rewards. The menu is always changing happy hours daily specials. All with cool vibe and it is clean with ample parking a first choice in the area, which is chuffed with good choices. Why I return. The vegan. options are continuing. I am visiting more often happy hour in the manor.

My co worker let me taste the nachos a gogo and they were delicious! Nice and crispy and the chips were thin. The next day my co worker and i ordered the nachos a gogo and i ordered food for my children since i took them to work with me. I was very disappointed with the nachos a gogo because the chips were stale i couldn't even eat the nachos. I was very dissatisfied and disappointed because i was really looking forward to the nachos. I ordered gogo dos tacos for my children and they weren't able to finish their food because the potatoes that i ordered were burnt and looked like they were scrapped off the pan, the taco de al pastor.... it tasted like meat with chile rojo sauce, it did not look like tacos a pastos. My children didn't eat their food and want able to go back since we had ordered through uber eats since i couldn't step out of the office. I had to go and buy other food from a fast food restaurant instead so that they wouldn't be hungry.

Whiteoak is waaaaaaay better. First off. The reason I go to tacos a go go is for their pork belly tacos. They are slow cooked in Saint Arnold's. At white oak they are dripping with sauce. Delicious. At this place. It's just a pork belly slice with no sauce. I went a couple of weeks ago. Ordered the tacos and it had no sauce. I went up to the front and asked where the sauce was. They looked at me like I was insane. They walked back to the cook. And the cook told them that's how it comes. I've been going to tacos a go go on whiteoak for over a year. I know it's cooked differently. For a new restaurant of a popular chain to open on my area. I was excited. But I'll be going back to whiteoak for their delicious brazed prork belly tacos. Until this place decided to send their cook over to whiteoak and see a great taco I'm over this place.
