Came on what seemed like a slow night for the bar attached; which made ordering easy and service fast. I ordered everything to-go. Ordered 5 tacos (3 bistec, 2 trompo) and it came with lime wedges, cilantro, fresh chopped onions, and a red and green salsa. My wife also got 5 tacos and a side of grilled pineapple and a cup of charro beans. Everything totaled to $29 ($1 Zelle fee they have posted). It’s convenient they’re not cash only but they also accept cash. Everything was plastic wrapped pretty nicely and I didn’t worry about it moving around in my car. We got home, prepared our meals and had a fantastic time. The tacos were delicious and the trompo is definitely what they’re known for. You don’t see that a lot and they do it very well. We used the grilled pineapples for the trompo tacos and I recommend you do it too. Both salsas were really yummy but I think I preferred the red with these tacos. The regular charro beans were also very delicious. They offer ones with toppings but we opted for the “plain” option. They are anything but plain. We will definitely be back with friends!

I went specifically to try the trompo. Got there around noonish...no trompo. Devastated! Apparently they start cooking it around that time and dont start serving it till around 4 or 5 pm. I did get a photo of the glorious tromp right after they put it on the spit. Amazing. Guess I'll have to make it back over there at some point. I didn't really have a backup plan so I panic chose barbacoa tacos. My 10 year old son complained they were on the greasy side but I had no complaints. They were delicious. My wife ordered bistec tacos. I tried a bite and loved it. It wasnt busy when I went so seating was easy but I can see it being impossible once the lines I've seen on other reviews form. Parking wasnt obvious so we asked if where we did park was ok and it was but there wasnt much of it so that to is something im not looking forward to when I go back for that trompo. Street parking is also an option.

When driving to this food truck, you might miss it, but you'll be happy that you found it. They provide a small indoor area, but I think the majority of customers just eat in their cars or take it to go. The food was great, and the portion size for the price was solid. The green salsa was spicy, but a must try. I wish I could've tried the beans, but since I went right as they opened, they were cooked just yet. I recommend going around 3ish to have the full menu available. Everything tasted fresh. I definitely need to go back and try the other items on the menu, but i tried the large quesadilla and corn tacos. I tried the beef, pork, and the mix.

Saturday night and we were looking for a quick bite. Heard some hype about this place and decided to be open minded, despite the surroundings. The establishment is the hole of the hole in the wall. Sometimes, that means the food is GREAT. We place our $50 order for a party of 3 consisting of tacos de trompo--nothing out of the ordinary. We were in the best of company as we sat in a makeshift enclosed room that smelled like dumpster juice (the smell lingered in our nostrils and on our clothes long after we left). It was about 80° in there. We noticed how busy it got but never did anyone give us nor the other patrons baking in the sauna a status of our order nor checked on us. Our party's patience was spent. We asked the lady taking orders if we could get a status and she stammered to say that it would be another few minutes. We then asked about getting our money back and she insisted that the food was already coming out. Since we had waited long enough we figured another few minutes wouldn't hurt. We were optimistic that maybe the food would be a bit of a reprieve for the TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE experience the establishment had offered so far. We noticed that a woman who was ahead of us in placing an order ALSO hadn't gotten her order, and "a few minutes" became another 15. With the stench of the human oven, the poor service, and the lack of effort to make it right, we just wanted to get out of there before we lost our heads. So, we left with empty stomachs and $50 poorer. I can understand a sudden rush of business, but being in a service industry role myself, there is NO EXCUSE for the lack of effort to make things right.

We requested a refund and after several nudges, the business returned our money. It was rightful, and we appreciate that they were honorable...

Hands-down the best tacos I’ve ever had—no exaggeration. From the moment I walked up to this taco spot in Houston, I knew it was going to be something special. The place was super clean, the setup was simple and straightforward, and ordering couldn’t have been easier. Everything about the experience was welcoming, and the lady working there was incredibly kind and friendly—it felt like I was being served by someone who genuinely cared about what they were making.

Now let’s talk about the food: these tacos were absolutely insane. The beef was seasoned to perfection—rich, flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right. You could tell whoever’s in the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing. And the salsa? Easily the best salsa I’ve had in my entire life. It had the perfect balance of heat and flavor, with just enough kick to make every bite more addictive than the last. I’d honestly go back just for the salsa alone.

Every element of the meal felt intentional, fresh, and full of flavor. You can taste the love and pride that goes into the food. If I had to pick one thing to eat for the rest of my life, without a doubt—it’d be these damn tacos.

I could see myself coming back here regularly. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to bring your friends, your family, your kids—everyone. Whether it’s a casual lunch or a chill night out, this spot hits the mark. The food is unforgettable, the vibe is welcoming, and the service is top-tier.

Houston has a lot of taco joints, but this one? It’s on a whole different level. If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. You...

This place was absolutely amazing, I came to get some tacos with my buddies and I don't know how to speak Spanish and she made the order super simple by showing us examples of what to order and what meat to choose. After we order 10 Carne tacos and 1 Carne quesodilla we sat down these guys offered to give us there spot because it had a fan blowing on it and had better crossdraft and they were super nice and they turned out to be the people who built the patio, which is why i love this family oriented business, back to the tacos. it took about 6 minutes to come out on a huge tray with a side of grilled onion, cilantro and some boiled potatoes which were amazing. Now the tacos tortilla ware so soft and delicious I could eat them bythemselves. The absolutely beautiful woman that brang our food to us was very sweet and nice it made us feel like we were back at home in grandma's kitchen. The portion sizes were more than perfect with enough food to fill your belly to the max and more for later just for 10$ for 5 tacos absolutely love it because of how much came with it and how quick it came out. I will definitely come here more often.... if I could I am out of state and wanted to leave a review to such a good business and thank you...
