Food was alright but the experience was a bad due to service by waitress by the name Isabela now when we got there we asked for tap water she brought water with no ice and so I asked for ice but it was like half a cup and we both need ice so I gave to my wife now we were with a party of 6 she seemed like she had a hard time keeping track of everything but her mood seemed like she didn't want to be there she didn't ask if we needed anything now when we ordered my wife felt like she was rushing my wife then when I needed a refill on my drink I asked in Spanish can you please give me a refill but with ice and please take my plate she made a face and took it when she came back with water there was no ice then I told I asked for ice she made another face left and came back and brought me back a really small glass of ice like there it was expensive or couldn't give us much after while the rest of the party was finishing thier plates I asked her to take them please she no that she was going to take them later and took off and seemed she was like she was hiding because we had come to the table no the other waitress seemed really nice and asked us if we needed something and wish we had a her instead the one we had I tell that is last time we go back never smiled or asked if we needed anything I used to be a server for years and never treated people like even if they were rude but we were very polite and when we left she looked the table and didn't even clean it then left and was upset because we didn't leave a good tip but good service gets a good tip her service totally killed the service and they are plenty places to eat I Houston so I can definitely live...
Read moreThere are better alternatives to taqueria food around the corner, namely. Mi Charro. Never a good experience for me going to this place but I always find myself giving them the benefit of the doubt. After waiting what seemed to be 20 minutes at the drive through, I finally was able to order my food and again had to wait an additional 15 minutes to receive it. I ordered a burrito al pastor that was, if not the most oily and soggy burrito ever to have been held and eaten by me. My drive was only 5 minutes to home and upon opening my hand was covered in oil. I understand this is al pastor, I've had plenty of it in my life but never this oily and soggy. It wasn't bad, but not pleasant either to have so much oil in every bite. I just had to show consumers with this picture on what to expect from this establishment when ordering a burrito al pastor. After eating almost half of it I could not bear to take another bite with so much oil in every bite. I gave this review two stars because although the food was terrible and the wait in drive through horrible, it could've been worse and found an insect covered in oil. Food was priced at 4.95 w/o taxes. Take you money elsewhere and...
Read moreI’ve been coming here for quite some years. I now live 30 minutes away and will drive in just to get a Gordita from here. The abuelita plate is my go to with chiles toreados. The prices are good for the portion received and taste. The green salsa is fire 🔥.
4 stars for the atmosphere because
1.) I can’t stand when someone puts music on the juke box it’s sooooooo loud. (That’s just my opinion)
2.) The restroom can stink sometime. 3.) The restroom is extremely cold lol 4.) The water is Hot as hell
And then 4 star for the service because it’s often that you’ll be over charged or gratuity added. They never give you the itemized receipt, they go straight to giving you the tip sheet. Other than that I’ve requested the day that my family lays me to rest they gather here for Gorditas NO BEANS with a couple chiles...
