Tortillas made by hand said the sign in the window and the parking lot looked like they had to expand it.. good signs. Sure enough as soon as you walk in the door, they're making the tortillas by hand. The chips and salsa were provided moments after sitting down the chips were obviously made on site with just couple slightly overdone. The salsas were green and red. The red had a toasty flavor and still warm when served and a spice that had a delay before it let you know it was there. The green was a bit sharper in spice and sweeter. I had the carne guisada and my dining partner had the caldo de cameron. The carne guisada had a roast beef flavor as opposed to a stewed. The sauce was a mileder red style and not a rojo chilie style guisada. It could have used a little bit more guisada IMHO, I love to mix it into the rice and beans but the carne was tender and flavorful. Instead of the smaller diced cranes, these were larger chunky cuts. The rice had a slight toasty fried flavor and their beans were truly hand made, thicker with chunks of whole beans and I found a few pieces of bay leaves in my serving ..... pretty much hallmarks of homemade beans in my book, so no complaints at all on that. Her caldo was giant bowl filled with shrimp, potatoes, carrots and other veggies. Both entrees came out so piping hot we had to wait a bit before we could dig in. The tortillas were truely homemade, a little toasty in places, a little bit cruda in others. Lots of manteca flavor and left a bit of flour on the fingers when tearing them into bite sized strips to wrap around the carne guisada. The wait for the entrees to cool was ok because we ordered a side of guacamole. It came out in a generous portion. Like the other items, obviously made fresh and homemade style with chunks of avocado and fresh cilantro. The micheladas were mild and probably would not impress someone who like theirs more heavy and flavorful . They day we went in, it was warm outside so the lighter were still welcome..... kinda sad that this place is the other side of town from my usual sphere of travels ... but so glad I did stop in when...

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years with my family and I’ve never had problems before. Until tonight... I went in ready to eat I was happy and laughing with my family. We had two servers tonight. The first one came and gave us our chips and salsas. As she sat the salsa down she had spilled some next to me. She saw that she spilled it and she saw that I saw her spilled it and instead of cleaning it she just walked away. I was like okay and just let it go. The second server came to us and took our orders. She seemed nice and everything. First server came back and gave us our plates and I kindly told her that my order was wrong and as she was leaving I asked my family if I was in the wrong and mistakenly asked what they gave me and they said no. Minutes later passed and the second sever came and attacked me by saying that she was not in the wrong and that it wasn’t her fault that it was mine. After that she brought my order correctly. The food was decent. As we were getting ready to leave and pay for our food waitress number two came to pick up our dishes and as she proceeds to reach over me to get our cups she spills a full drink on me. All my clothes and shoes got wet and also my sisters phone. We go to the manager and she tells us that “accidents happen” “get insurance on your phone” “what do you want us to do about it” “put your phone on rice” Not once did they apologize... they weren’t sorry. We asked for the owners number...

Que bueno que no soy yo la única que tengo está opinión al matrimonio dueños de este restaurante donde en la cosina pienso que es unos de los que elaboran una comida muy sabrosa ojo con mi comentario y lo voy a poner en todas las plataformas conosco y vicito este lugar de años este grupo del turno día ojo para usted que es la dueña de este lugar la Manager del turno día no tiene una gota de ética muy déspota mal educada y miro que no soy la única que piensa así mi insidente con ella no se quedará aquí ya que en este país no se puede hacer bullying es ilegal y tratar a las personas como ella las trata tengo todo grabado y gracias a Dios soy médico y se cómo hacer que esto se resuelva y que no sea un simple comentario desapersibido y se que los dueños tienen acceso a las cámaras y aunq lo borren no los dueños ella la manager que no tiene nada de nada para tener ese prestigioso puesto haré público todo porq aquí sin pruebas no se puede hablar ella quedó grabada aúnq se escondió conmigo en la parte del baño después del chou que ella principalmente que no tiene ética halguna aunq lo aparente y de esta manera yo como costumer service pienso que ella no debe trabajar ahí porq este es uno de los restaurantes más limpios de atención bella y única entonces si no tengo respuesta de los dueños ahora como están las leyes elevaré todo esto y hojala y todo esté en orden ella la manager que contrata es racista y lo puedo demostrar es demasiado poco profesional y para rematar handa con una curitas puesta en sus manos manipulando platos turno día ojo Muy muy decepcionada no solo de su trabajo como manager de las peores que e visto conosco muchas pero esa señora que está ahora turno día y contrata es muy descriminadora y se tapa con ser muy muy recta no lo es no tiene carácter seriedad ni con sus trabajadoras ojo repito no estamos en tiempos de trabajar así elevaré esto a todos los niveles y plataformas a las que tenemos acceso y este país es de atención impecable y más un restaurante como Jalisco gracias Dios te bendiga y te elimine esa maldad pero no llegarás muy lejos ahí porq los dueños son súper rigurosos es mi humilde comentario y aquí pongo una imaqen además de lo que leo que no soy la única persona que piensa lo mismo no sé si de limpieza de mesera de cocinera de Manager no la hace aúnq las chicas por temor o cuidar su trabajo que hojala y todas tengan la documentación adecuada porq estoy súper indignada con ella y su conducta fingida nada como las Manager Ruby y otras que porf la de la tarde exelente calidad de persona y profesional gracias 🙏 espero respuesta de los dueños para esplicar todo de lo contrario bueno haré lo que se hace por la ley a esta chica Mexicanos y digo así porq es su nacionalidad solo por no hablar claro el.espanol le hicieron bullying y lo grave le decían niña nueva pero mi enojo es que las chicas se disculparon pero ojo la Manager del.turno día solo por lleqar y le escribío lleqo rápido pero unos minutos tarde cosa que no está bien tiene que llegar a su hora pero ya lo de ella fue personal y le dijo no venga más ya puse a halguien mas eso no es así compañera te asequro que no se queda así porq saves que no actuastes como es y eso que Dise usted tener una hija de esta edad aunque te urge halguien a cualquiera se le presenta un problema y más ella que va a trabajar en buz usted como manager como haces con las demás y se lo digo con seguridad porq aquí en este país no se puede hablar sin base fue que no te agrado la chica y esto no es así es nueva y debes ser parcial y tener ética ok no pasa más pero te cubro y lleqa ya la tenías personal con ella y haré todo porq fuistes usted como Manager muy insensible gracias 🫂 y Dios te bendiga porq mucha maldad en tus actos en un restaurante con tanto prestigio ni el.pago habías preparado no le esplicastes nada solo se reían q aquí lo tengo grabado para mí defensa y la de ella y le decían niña nueva y usted no sabe lo trabajadora que es esta chica el martes hojala y su pago sea el.correcto suerte la vas a ocupar no se cómo pueden personas así trabajar...
