My Fiancee ordered me a chocolate rum cake and in the description described it says it's filled with a heavy rum frosting for my birthday. There was zero rum in in the cake and no one that tasted the cake could taste any rum. We were super disappointed because that's one of my favorite cakes and it was expensive and for my Birthday. We called and talked to the manager and he told us he would give us a 10 Dollar refund and then if we brought a piece of cake to the bakery he would give us a full refund if the cake was just chocolate. We brought the cake to the bakery and the first girl that was helping us said this is the wrong cake and there is no rum in it so she handed it off to another girl. The second girl smelled the cake with two mask on and said she can smell rum. Give me a break how can you smell rum with two mask on when the first girl already confirmed it's the wrong cake. She proceeded to call the manger and the manager told us he can't do anything because we only brought a piece of cake back to the store vs the whole cake and we are out of luck. We still have the whole cake because it's not what we want and can still bring it back to the store but he said there is nothing we can do. Avoid this place you pay high prices for a cake with a receipt then when you bring them the cake back that is obviously the wrong cake you are screwd. We will never do business there again and will spread the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām sad to say I need to update my review for Three Brothers. Iāve always felt welcomed here and the staff has been consistently friendly, well until today. I stopped by to grab a few desserts to bring home, but the experience left me disappointed.
When I arrived, the employee working didnāt greet us or even make eye contact. She seemed to deliberately ignore us, pacing back and forth while putting things away. After several minutes, she finally spoke, without turning to face us, and asked what we needed. I was caught off guard and didnāt respond right away. When she turned toward us and asked again, I requested a cherry cheesecake and mentioned that my friend wanted something too. Still not facing us, she called out, āIām listening,ā which made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming.
She bagged the items without care, rang us up, and then sarcastically said, āHave a sweet day,ā while rolling her eyes and walking away. Was it because I didnāt leave a tip? This is the first time in 10 years that I have not left a tip to the wonderful staff here.
I understand that working in customer service can be hard, and Iām not expecting over-the-top friendliness. But basic courtesy makes a big difference, especially to someone who has been a loyal customer and visits nearly every week. I truly hope this was just a bad day for her and that some coaching can help, because I really do love...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI shouldāve taken pictures of the beautiful and tasty treats that I purchased at Three Brothers Bakery but...it all happened too fast, lol. My friend from church told me about another friend from who purchased a rum cake from the bakery. She kept going on and on about this bakery and finally said we had to go. Needless to say, it didnāt take much more to convince me, lol. When I pulled up into the parking lot, I was already thinking this has got to be good. I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smileš 1st positive sign. The bakery smelled of freshly brewed coffee, 2nd positive signāŗļø, the bakery was so clean, the pastries were beautifully designed...3rd and 4th...weāre on a roll here!!! I ordered a slice of key lime pie for myself and a cheesecake cupcake for my friend and (drumroll) the young lady gave me a LAGNIAPPE!!!! In New Orleans we call this a freebie and in Honduras we call it a chascadaš...we were happy campers, lol. Our treats were DELICIOSO!!!!! You guys have to check this place out...seriously!
COVID-19 safety in place; gloves, masks, social distancing and sanitized environment. Best customer service hands down!!! Iāll be back with...
