I've heard a lot of good things from this place so my expectations were really high. Nobody was standing outside, but bassoon as I walked in, the line was right there. The person behind me had to wait. Maybe 10 people in front of me if that but man, it took 23 minutes just to get to the lady. I placed my order 2 fajita tacos and 1 chicken tacos with beans on all 3 and a Mexican coke. $17. I did not know it was that expensive.

When I placed the order, I told the lady to go. It was my first time here, and she made the tacos and put them in a basket. I told her to go and she got annoyed and I told her nevermind I'll just eat here. I grabbed my drink from the cooler and I sat down. There was a pile of dirty plates on a table infront of me. The lady picks it up and her finger was in the left over food. She turns around and asked me if I wanted a cup with ice I told her yes and she grabs what I thought was just a random dirty cup but it was a few cups with ice in them.

She stuck her fingers in the cup to grab multiple cups at 1 time and left me one. She asked if I wanted my coke open and I told her no ill take it instead. I was grossed out that in under 10 seconds you had your fingers in somebody else's dirty plate and then brought me a cup.

1 and done with this place. Didn't live up to the hype all my coworkers would tell me about.

Tacos were ok. Not enough for me to...

👍 They have the best tacos in Houston. 🤜 Unfortunately, everyone knows this, so there's always a line out the door. 👎 Also unfortunately, getting through the line can take OVER AN HOUR. I was recently able to read the weekend edition of the Wall Street Journal, entirely, while waiting in line. The problem is line-cutters. One person will wait in line and a few of their friends will join that one person. It is incredibly frustrating when an entire family reunion just cuts in line. Yes, an entire family of aunts, uncles, and cousins has done this (shame on them for not having decent manners). 👎 There isn't consistency in what's offered. It's understandable if it's late and the restaurant ran out, but some days you will wait an hour in line and they just didn't cook what you came in for... and you have to scramble to figure out what to order so you didn't just waste the morning waiting in an ever-growing line. 🤜 There isn't much seating, but they turn the tables pretty quickly. 👎 The hours of operation don't make sense, and most neighbors deem this establishment as unreliable. Yes, the hours are posted online, but after finding out they're closed so many times... it just becomes too much of a hassle to come here. There's another place down the road (close to TC Jester) that's open all the time and they're more generous with...
