My family and I have been coming to Wanfu Café since they first opened. We have made this our go-to at least once a week. However, their customer service has been horrible recently. The last two times my family and I went to eat at the restaurant we had to get up multiple times to ask for refills. After having a horrible experience at the restaurant on May 31, 2019, I called to order six specialty dishes along with other food. I told the guy taking my order to please include a hot chili oil sauce and sriracha sauce with each specialty dish. He made me talk to his manager because 6 hot chili oil sauces and 6 sriracha sauce packs were apparently too much (please keep in mind I am ordering 6 specialty dishes along with other food). Furthermore, I talked to the manager who was very rude and stating that I had to pay an additional $1 for EACH hot chili oil sauce and sriracha sauce pack ($12 bucks). I have been coming here for years and not once did they ever charge me for any sauces. I was very frustrated at this point because the manager was handling the situation in a poor manner so I canceled my order. I will NEVER give my hard earn money to this...
Read moreWhen you walk in and see several tables to the right looks like the owner's home kitchen table with personal groceries and items on them, means the owner's have given up on running their business and these owner's have, Ordered the General Tso's Chicken and fried rice, Way worse than Buffet quality! Chicken meat is what I call elbows and a#@s h#les meat, scrap pieces of chicken, soggy mess. LOADED, LOADED with MSG, and more MSG, only ate 2 pieces and was sick all night, the fried rice was very dry like it had been sitting in the pot all day. I would go to a buffet place or even Panda Express before this place. The owner's have simply given up, if you don't believe me, then walk in and take a good look around before you ordered, I'm upset with myself more than them, because I didn't follow my instincts and turn around and left, but instead got sick and drank a gallon of water and got sick from their food. I never leave a review, but you will thank me, if you don't go and spend your money...
Read moreJust order from Wanfu Café based on the great reviews we saw, however it did not meet expectations. We ordered very simple dishes: Beef Lo Mein (Extra Extra Spicy), Mongolian Beef (Extra Extra Spicy), and Fried Chicken Dumpling. The Lo Mein was nothing to rave about and was not spicy as we had requested, the only good thing about the Lo Mein was that it was not oily, so good job on that. The Mongolian Beef tasted like it came out of the microwave and although I had asked for it to be spicy it was not! It did however contain copious amounts of onions which was 2/3 of the container (yes I did separate it and measure). The Dumplings were not bad, they actually tasted like they were made in house and were fresh, Great job!
In short its 5 min from the house and is a last place I would stop. I would go back for Dumplings and that's about it. Everything else taste like it came out of...
