Big City Bagels & Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs — Restaurant in Howell Township

Honestly, the worst breakfast sandwich and hash brown we’ve had. I’m not the person to leave bad reviews or ally.. but we’ve given this place another chance more often than we should have. We’ve been led to disappointment each time, so it’s not just “a bad day” or “a bad sandwich.” I’ve gotten the wrong bread (bagel or roll) for my orders more often than not. Our sandwiches were terrible. The last order was a bacon egg and cheese, but was on the wrong bread (yet again), the bacon was cooked as little as possible to not be considered raw (disgusting), then the one half of the sandwich literally had nothing on the bread other than a small piece of egg that didn’t even cover the half of bread. It was honestly disgusting that I didn’t even give any to our dog that I usually share with. The hash browns on the side were terrible too. The flavor was disgusting, it was soggy (even tho we asked for extra crunchy) and the flavor was old grease. I don’t know how hard it is to mess up a hash brown.. but What a sad breakfast.....

Nice place with lots of parking, good spacey indoor seating and very friendly employees.. they have bagels and nathans mixed in one and i thought the quality wouldnt be great but bagels were actually very good. They weren't toasted how i normally prefer so they are probably even better if done how i like it. Nice crunchy yet soft texture with good flavor. Cream cheese was good , overall really enjoyed the bagel and the wide variety and abundance of bagels and bagel flavors but wow the coffee was not good at all.. i think it had the wrong label cause it definitely tasted like french vanilla when it was suppose to be a different flavor it was not good at all, so i bought an ice coffee which was even worse like actually terrible tasting.. muddy tasting yet watery at the same time.. i would return when in the area and will try other things..good average price for bagel and coffee about...

EDIT** I ended up messaging the business on Facebook, I tried to see if they would at least rectify the situation, but instead they just angry reacted to my actual experience. Now this place is a joke.

I have to say this last time I went to Big City Bagels was an awful experience. I had a coupon, the woman at the register honestly couldn't comprehend the coupon at all and had a horrendous attitude anytime I pointed out what she said was wrong, but that's besides the point. I ordered 3 sandwiches, why was I upcharged for the bread?! Your sodas are completely flat and stale. The atmosphere was extremely cold, and the wait time was long when they weren't busy. I paid $40 for mediocre food, a cold atmosphere, and a 30+ minute wait time. I do not...
