Went to the store was great but referred to online to order a item not stocked in this location. Great no problem but that's when the problems started. The order was placed after waiting 3 weeks the saw NEVER arrived called C.S. was told will ship on Monday well Monday arrived to find out the saw was not shipped. Told to check back Wednesday. Told a second time that the saw will ship on Monday. Three weeks later it was finally shipped tracked the order for 5 days....the day it was supposed to be delivered 8pm .now I checked the order and it was being returned to shipper no answer why called C.S. clueless tried at first to say I refused the order. Then changed the story when I asked for a supervisor. The supervisor was just as clueless said will only send the new saw after receiving the old order. So I called FedEx to find out what happened to the order to find out it was damaged in shipment and that they notified the shipper that morning..Hum the same shipper who won't send the saw . It been almost 2 months since the order finally got the saw and it arrived in 2 peices broken now I have no choice but to hire someone to do the work. So I waited just shy of 9 weeks to get a broken saw .So this company needs help and fast or they will be no longer in...

In October my husband got into a motorcycle accident so we were in search of a wheelchair that we purchased at this location. Not only was the cashier extremely supportive and kind after learning of what the wheelchair was needed for, she had another associate assemble the chair for me at the store to ensure it was done correctly. Fast forward 60 days… I went back to return the wheelchair due to a manufactures malfunction on one of the pedals. Not only did the Cashier Brittany remember me & the accident but she had the same exact kind, welcoming personality helping me with the return. Her manager Joe also assisted her in the return of the chair and he could not have been more helpful and caring as to make sure everything got returned properly. Read moreI normally like shopping at Harbor Freight, but the staff at the Howell, NJ location seriously let me down. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was bothering them just by being there. No one greeted me, no one offered help, and when I asked a simple question about a tool, the employee gave me attitude like I was wasting their time.
Some workers were just standing around chatting while customers were clearly looking for help. I even overheard one of them talking disrespectfully about another customer who had just left. Completely unprofessional.
If you’re looking for decent service or even basic respect as a customer, this is not the place. Management needs to step up and retrain this staff—or bring in a new team that actually cares.
