Dollar Donuts — Restaurant in Howell Township

I think for most people who just want some donuts, this will do, and it's "good enough" that you'll be satisfied.

Just grade the place on a "Donuts are a Dollar" curve.

Don't compare it to a specialty donut shop. Don't expect much from the coffee or the refresher, which I think is literally gatorade.

The toppings on most of the donuts were minimal. They're basically Vanilla/Choc frosted with a small garnish. Almost chuckled at 5 mini M&Ms on a donut, a small dusting of cookie or sprinkle on another.

Maybe they were just running low on some toppings after opening week.

But I'm not complaining, because it's a dollar donut. Is it good? Yes, it's good.

It's not amazing. Amazing donuts aren't a dollar. But a dollar for a donut, is kind of amazing. So... yeah.

I'm not asking how they make money at $1/donut. Don't tell me what's in them.

If you're comparing this to Dunkin, you probably already hate Dunkin, so just try some of these instead.

This shop can fulfill the low price point shopper -- like you just want some donuts to take to a party, or for work. And you don't want drinks or anything else, just some donuts.

This place is amazing. Donuts are so fresh and tasty handmade by the owner and his family. They had a complete line of coffee options as well as different spritzers to complement your fresh donuts. They just opened a little over a week ago and I’ve already been here twice and will continue to keep coming. My only problem is this place is gonna screw up my diet. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Everything was nice and clean and Modern. They got cool neon signs and a really funky wall art piece that stands out . The value you’re getting here is amazing a dozen fresh donuts for $12 plus tax.
