Been going here since I was a child, Theres no person that loves this place more than me If im being honest.

However, over the years the food qualith has taken a fair bit of downward turn. While me, my family, and others haven't personally had very negative experiences. I have heard of some ghastly cases of food poisoning come from here. Furthermore, I have heard that in recent years they did not fare well on an inspection and came close to being shut down.

I have always enjoyed their Almond Boneless Chicken, Fried Rice, and Eggdrop Soup. I would still reccomend it and this place. However, nowdays the owners are older, the husband had a stroke many moons ago I believe and never really recovered fully. Bless the mans heart. The business could use fresh ownership to bring things back around.

Just know that sometimes eating here can be a bit of a dice roll, and honestly I believe that if a clearly better Chinese Place were to open nearby then NCK would go under within months. Personally, I have found a new favorite in a closer town and as a result: I do not go here anymore.

I wish them all luck...

Every time I get take out I have to practically argue with the lady that runs the front counter because she doesn't want to give me more soy sauce or and extra mustard packet; The amount she thinks I should have is 4 packets total. She'll say "you have enough! I already gave you some!!" My kind response is; can i have 2 more? and she will then stomp off to the kitchen all while complaining about having to give me more sauce packets and literally bring back 2 more packets. It's ridiculous I've never in my life felt like I couldn't ask for more condiments in a restaurant. Another time my friends and I went and they ordered a GRILLED CHEESE. The grilled cheese consisted of two lightly toasted slices of bread with a cold slice of cheese between the 2 peices of bread. I mentioned it to the waiter and his response was "that's how Chinese make grilled cheese". He wouldn't make her another one or cook it longer. I personally struggle with going there because I love Chinese food And some of their dishes are very good, but I can't stand the way they treat you if you want...

Phenomenal food and great prices. We got the crab rangoons, egg rolls, orange chicken, and Szechuan chicken.

The crab Rangoons were crispy and a little on the sweet side. We loved the sweet and sour sauce they came with too. The egg rolls had delicious filling and were very well seasoned. My friend got the orange chicken and deemed it the best orange chicken they’ve ever had - after trying some, I agree! A great meat to breading ratio and not super heavy, not overwhelmingly sweet but still the sweet and citrusy flavor you’d expect from orange chicken. The Szechuan chicken will have me coming back as a regular. A good balance of vegetables and meat, and the sauce was to die for. I wish it was a little spicier, but I heard the table next to us asking about a side of chili oil, which I’ll probably ask for next time.

Overall everything was very fresh, flavorful, and their portions were huge! The prices were great too. I recommend this place to anyone craving Chinese food or looking for a good hot meal.

Jackie welcomed us to the New China King restaurant. Family ate here decades. Ago. Closed on Monday always stopped us but a Wednesday allowed us to dine here. The food was absolutely delicious and served on styrofoam plating for ease to take hone any left overs. Wife wanted the fried rice to have more flavor but I felt that would interfere with the main entrees! I cannot wait to reheat my food! Jackie is the nicest waiters multitasking the drive in window, take out and dine in tables. This allowed the cooks to prepare delicious food and the other waitress was just as terrific! I cannot wait to return. Thank Confucius for their tolerance of my terrible Chinese. Why do they always laugh and laugh? Boo How!

Residents of Howell for 23 years and it my first time trying local American Chinese food..Howell American Chinese food is terrible. Typical American Chinese food The first time, abc was good, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th were not good. Abc to dry over fry. Fried Rice needs more seasoning flavor Fried Rice and AbC are pretty big but not the stir fry. Mongolian beef It's not worth it over price for the little portion Couple slices of beef. The rest is just onion . Back to driving far for authentic Chinese food
