Asian Star — Restaurant in Huber Heights

We have been going here for years and it has been steadily going down hill. Tonight was the last time we ever go here. We ordered lo mein and after we took it home we where shocked to find that there was no sause in the noodles. So we took it back. The lady got really nasty with my husband and said we have to ask for sauce with it. When my husband said we never had to before she corrected her self and said " oh you have to asked for extra sauce" which we have never had to do either. She then poured something on it and pointed him out the door. What ever she poured on it was not the normal soy/oyster sauce but an watered down teriyaki sauce. So I was driving through Huber Heights and was hungry for Chinese. I asked Google to see Chinese restaurants in the area and this one was closest. I decided to give it a try seeing as it has good reviews. I ordered four things. House special lo mein, shrimp with snow peas, beef with snow peas and an order of steamed dumplings. First I'd like to preface this by saying nothing g I got was bad. The lo mein noodles were the best of everything. That said, the shrimp, & beef w/shrimp lacked flavor. I was expecting it to be slightly sweeter than it was. Both just seemed to lack any flavor leaving me somewhat disappointed. However, the shrimp was plentiful and plump. Asian Star is the best chinese food around. I have tried all of them in the local area and after three visits here, I can say there's no topping it. I have had stellar food every time I have been here. My wife and I shared a general tso's dinner with crab rangoon and egg rolls. Nothing comes close to their chicken. It has the perfect crunch despite being doused in sauce, perfect texture and juicy chicken. Best of all is how quickly they get the food to you. It is faster than most fast food these days.
