I am very upset on how I was treated at this location on 5501 Old Troy Pike in Huber Heights. My family and I ordered a couple of pizzas and some wings. I placed my order at 6:30pm for delivery. I included that tip on this order. I received a conformation that our order would be finished by 7:30pm. I called them at 7:45pm to get the status on our order. The lady I spoke to, Terri said that someone had called them that this would be pick up instead of delivery. I told her that it couldn't be possible due to I'm the one with the phone and the conformation on my email about the order being delivered. I asked her how long until the order could be delivered. Terri tells me that it would be about 45 minutes. I explained to her that NO ONE from my end called to cancel the delivery. She said that it was a man that called. I explained to her again that NO ONE in the household was a man. I explained on how upset I was that why would I wait another 45 minutes since I should have received my order around 7:30 (one hour after I placed the order). I asked Terri to repeat the address and phone # on the order to make sure that they did not get any orders messed up. I told her to cancel my order and that I would be contacting corporate. I'm sorry, but if a man called and canceled the delivery and said it would be picked up. Why would not call the phone # on the order to conform, since the order was under Alyssa (my daughter).
My family and friends have ordered pizza from this location lots of times in the past. It upsets me that this location was not whiling to help us to fix the problem. Today for Superbowl Sunday, they disappointed me. I ordered a scheduled ahead order, the day before and they failed to serve me correctly...smh. They forgot about my wings! Don't get me wrong, my pizza was ready as scheduled, however, my wings were no where to be found! The guy working there knew of the mistake and was disappointed as well. Read moreI have to be perfectly honest, I am in the customer service industry and more importantly, the medical sector so I know how hard it is sometimes to please everyone with multiple responsibilities especially when it's busy. What I never forget though is the customer's experience. This particular location has completely forgotten that! I came at 7 o'clock after placing my order online and getting confirmation, obviously my order was late but ironically that wasn't the issue. The issue was the total lack of communication not just from the back of the house to the customers but more importantly amongst themselves. I kind of figured this is how the backup started in the 1st place. Gonna take a miracle for us to choose this location... Manager didn't even acknowledge me as I got my pizzas.
