Truly let down by this location. I've been frequenting here ever since they opened because I live across the street, but it seems they've gone downhill quickly. This isn't due to the smoothies or quality of food they offer, it's due to the staff and the wait, and apparently the frequent changes in their menu. Every time my family and I visit, it's a decently long wait time to receive our order, especially via drive thru. But this last visit was horrible when we visited by drive thru. We went to order a sandwich for our son from the kids menu, they said didn't offer such a sandwich, so we responded that it was on their menu. The young lady repeated they've never had it with an attitude. So we order a different sandwich for him, and my fiancee orders a sandwich and they state that they don't have it anymore, mind you we just ordered it 3 days before. My fiancee reorders a different sandwich given what we were told. We get to the window and we're asked what we wanted to order again (after spending 10 mins at the speaker because we waited 5 mins before she answered us at the speaker), greeted with more attitude, as if she didn't want to be there and wanted to leave instead of help. So picture our frustration at this point. We reorder at the window. I guess they're short staffed because she goes to the back, comes back 5 mins later and tells us they're out of the meat for the sandwich I ordered, so I chose something else and she takes our payment. No joke, we say there at the window for another 28 mins before getting our smoothies and food. We were never apologized to for the wait or issues with ordering. I recommended they update their menus al if they don't carry a sandwich any longer and hand the young lady their own menu she handed us and pointed out the sandwich she said they never served. Read moreI wish I could give this place more stars but it’s kind of hard to because of some of the weak points of this place. Just recently started going here, the first time we had gotten a Caribbean jerk chicken bowl w/ kale apple slaw and a baja chicken wrap and paid 99 cents more for the new sweet potato sides. We also got smoothies too, and ordered it online. Timing was fine and only took about 15 minutes. For the amount they gave me the first time, I was disappointed because they only gave me about a little less than half of a small bowl full of potatoes, and this upset me because we had paid extra to get them, so they could have at least given us more for the price. However the smoothies were very good and the main meals were great too. About a week later we decided to come here again because the food is pretty good and so are the smoothies. This time we got different smoothies and different meals and they were also good, but when it came to the sides once again not only was there only half a thing of it in the bowl but we both got apple slaw and it was rotten and gross. If they’re going to give us only half of what we pay for you can at least give us fresh non-rotten sides. The food and smoothies are great, but someone needs to start monitoring how much food employees give customers when it comes to sides and they also need to monitor whether or not fresh produce...
Read moreI have been patronizing this Tropical Smoothie for over a year and have always had polite and helpful service. I started using the online app to place my order and pickup however I have been unable to get the online app accept coupons. When I asked about this the employee stated they didn’t know anything about the app because they don’t use it. The next time I was in the store I ask another employee and got the same answer. I found this to be unacceptable since you work at the store and could have at least refer me to a website or customer service number. Also since I started online ordering, if no one is in the drive thru I pick my order up from the window. I have only done this approx. 4 time thus far. Well today I was told I had to come in the store and pick my order up from the counter, with no explanation why. The employee was so irritated by me pulling up to the window, I wanted to ask her who put vinegar in her Wheaties that morning. When you come in to pick up your order, no one comes out to check you are getting the correct order or anything. It is like you a bothering them.
