Hickory location is always Great but this one (Hudson) now is HORRIBLE. I got there and they said they were out of Roast beef and it would be 10-15 minutes for more to finish cooking. The cook sliced it thick not thin. He complained the entire time about hating his job and was going to be like “Stewie “ off Family Guy and how he was starting to hate that place. I placed an order through the app but had to order my Turkey Ruben in person bc the app doesn’t have the turkey option instead or corn beef. The girl who took my order didn’t key in turkey in the order so a corn beef Ruben was made. I mentioned it and the cook/preparer got mad and asked the other guy there “Did he even order Turkey on it?” I said “Yes I did, I told her a Turkey Ruben”. and the girl who took my order just looked at me and didn’t say a word. Then he asked if it was going to be heated or not bc he got in trouble for heating it before (For a Hot Sandwich). He wore the same gloves the whole time touching everything. Very loud and rude guy. Talking loud over the food he made. The girl at the front kept calling my app order a DoorDash. I had to tell her that the DoorDash order wasn’t mine, I had a online app order. She filled the coke so full it was spilling out everywhere all over the counter. Didn’t offer napkins. I had to go get some. Didn’t offer a drink tray either with 4 drinks (to go). After about 25 minutes in there got my two orders. Had to ask for marinara for the cheese sticks and it was clearly on the app order & receipt. The ketchup packs in the lobby were all mostly stuck together by something sticky. The crinkle cut Fries were so over cooked that they were very dark brown and so hard I couldn’t eat them. Read moreTwo of us, we ordered a reuben combo and a classic roast beef combo, asked for senior discount like always before but today we were told they don't give one, only a senior drink, but with a combo the drink is already discounted (?) so no discount at all. The reuben seemed to be okay, but I had the roast beef classic, I requested lettuce, tomato and mayo. The beef was not sliced but shredded like they had gotten down to the last bit of meat and were using the scraps, and it was pressed onto the bun. There were two large leafs of lettuce and I went to pull one off and it had 3 or 4 black holes in the leaf that were rotten. I left the lettuce off. The bun was smashed and the bottom fell apart before I could finish it due to the sandwich swimming in mayonnaise. If I had been dining alone I would have taken it back but I tried to eat it because my elderly mother was with me and I didn't want to embarrass her, and she had paid for it. The two trash receptacles were running over, the cashier and drive thru employee were tossing ranch dressing across the room, and they were not busy inside. Read moreThis experience was so good that I had to write this review right after! We just went (6:40pm on 7/3/22) and the guy who took our order and the guy who gave us the food were GREAT! I'm not sure if they are the same or different people. The guy who took the order was super nice, thorough, and repeated every item to us. The guy at the window( I wish I got his name) did a awesome job!! He was very friendly, courteous, and fast. He made us feel welcome and did a real good job. We haven't really eaten much other than the fries (since we litteraly just left) but so far the food is good too! I've been in restaurants for over 15 years and worked every single position, including management. Finding good people, especially NOW is really hard. Keep these men (or man, if it's the same guy)
