I wish I could leave 0 stars!!!
I placed a Door Dash order and had an error. I clicked onions for my pizza and meant to click pineapple. I called the store within 2 min and here is how the conversation went:
Me - "Good evening, my name is Keita and i just placed a Door Dash order and have a question." Employee - "Sir!! I have no control over Door Dash, I cant help you!" Me - "Ma'am I havent even asked my question yet and you are telling me you have no control?" Employee - "Sir, I dont have time for this!!" And proceeds to hang up on me.
Being hopeful the line simply disconnected, I called back and asked for a manager. A young man answered who claimed to be new and said there is nothing he can do and I could hear her in the background asking "is that the Door Dash guy?" I asked him why everyone keeps saying they have no control. You do! You are ultimately going to make my pizza based on what came through DoorDash so I dont understand why I kept being told "there is no control." She got back on the phone and stated again she has no control over my pizza and hung up a second time.
It is 100% possible to have simply confirmed that my order was received, and swap the onions to pineapple given it was a no cost change. I have called before when there was a mistake and it was handled perfectly without any issue.
I will not let this go!! I was charged $47.03 and Door Dash said that you all already started my pizza which is NOT true, and therefore only refunded me $12.25. My text confirmation came through at 6:13pm and I called at 6:16pm.
I will not accept giving you all $35 for free for that level of service!! I emailed the donatos cleveland team a week ago and still no response so these owners replies...
Read moreThis is review is not for the food. The food is great - I love this pizza. I grew up a donatos fan and ate it all through college. Now, when I drive through Ohio, I try to stop and get it because I loved it so much. However, I am starting to see a down tunr in quality - last pizza hardly had any sauce on it. Even worse, when I called to see if there were any specials, The worker on the phone told me "no". Yet, as I walk in to pay for the pizza, sure enough, they have menus with specials right there on the countertop when you come in. Is it too much to ask for a $1 or $2 off two pizza's when you have the coupon sitting right there???? Seriously? I have gone out of my way to get this pizza when driving through Ohio as it is rarely off a major highway - and they cant even offer me a couple bucks off? I am starting to rethink my allegiance to Donatos. Hudson is not the only store that has done this....seems to be a company policy not to offer any specials, and for someone like me that goes out of their way to come there, it is a...
Read moreI'm sad because this place lost my business. I normally get carryout once or twice a week for lunch because it's close to where I work. Today I ordered the same salad I got a few days ago, with the same customizations. I ended up having to walk over to the restaurant, in the rain, because my car died. I got my food and ran back to work. When I got to work my salad still had all but one of the items on it that I wanted left off it it and was missing was item it was supposed to have. I called the store and they basically told me I was lying saying " I see here it says only minus spinach" with an attitude. I have the email confirmation from my mobile order showing what was supposed to be on it which is what I told her and was again told that she sees it only without spinach. I should have asked for a manager but I was so frustrated from having to walk over in the rain and back just to not have what I ordered that I hung up not wanted to deal with the attitude. So now I'll go the rest of my work day without eating because the salad went...
