This place was disgusting inside, back by the bar area and restrooms. Ive noticed so many violations when I was in there. Things like leaving the ice scooper in the machine and putting dishes that fell on the floor back in the rack to be reused. Good thing i only used the restroom during the hughson parade. Funny thing is, when we were leaving we over heard a customer send his food back and tell the waitress he didn't want any food that is coming out of that kitchen...I wouldn't blame him, the guy cooking wasnt wearing a hat or a hairnet. Why is this place still in business. They need to change. Its not that hard to clean a resturant trust me I know Ive worked in one and also was an inspector for the chow halls in the Navy. Thumbs down to the management of this place for not educating there employees and maintaining standards. If they took the food handling course as required, they would know of these...
Read moreMost servers are extremely friendly, and In non peak hours, very tentative, but when it gets busy...the wait is over 30-40min at a time and kids always seem to get served last.
We are used to feeding our children 1st, otherwise we wait our food gets cold.
In addition, they always seem to be missing or out of something on the menu, and my eggs are NEVER correct - doesn't matter how I order them, and toast is always dry (strange). So I have to remember to state EXTRA butter, to get some butter, and I stopped ordering eggs there. If I want great eggs, made perfectly 1st shot, I go to Huckleberrys in Turlock.
Best to go in wee early morning hours or hour before close weekdays for full, prompt service snd no wait.
Over all - good , friendly staff. With 2-3 that are extremely courteous and always smiling, which keeps us coming back. Warm welcomes and "thank you" when we leave...
Read moreWe came here for lunch after church. The place was pretty busy, which is always a good sign. - The servers were prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was fresh and tasty. My wife loved her pork chops. My daughter had a toasted tuna sandwich with curly fries. The curly fries were seasoned perfectly and tasted great. My chili burger was properly cooked and tasty. I also ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup, which was flavorful, but slightly too salty, but I like it that way! The only minor complaints: there wasn't any soft music to enhance the dining experience. The television in the main dining area (above the entrance) is too small. The ceiling fans felt good, but the high speed of the fans tend to cool down hot food too quickly. Since they only have Pepsi (instead of coke), my wife and I ordered iced tea, which actually tasted...
