I know there are some skeptical Savoy old school snobs on EVERY Savoy location saying it's not the same as the original. I AGREE the ambiance, prices, production, things change. It's hard to replicate an original anything. I worked the original, and managed a Savoy years ago. I'm a snob to I get it. The one on White Bear Ave was the closest, until today. Had some East Coast friends in town, 1 lived here 20 years ago, wanted Savoy, told her it's still great but none are like the old days....I was dead wrong. We ordered a large special and it was like I was back in 1995 again. Yes I will HAPPILY pay $30 for a pizza that fantastic. Absolutely exceeded expectations. Keith not only made me tge best Savoy I've had in 20 years, hes very personable and knowledgeable about the whole Savoy tradition and history. Thanks...

I've usually had good experiences with them. However, I've noticed their deliveries getting slower and slower. A Friday afternoon, it took them over an hour and a half to deliver a small order to my house less than a mile away. Someone from the restaurant called me, apologizing and saying the order would be "hot and fresh," but it was completely lukewarm by the time it got to me.

Also, since I used to go to the Red's Savoy in Roseville years ago, I will point out that they started skimping on their sauce when COVID started up. You now have to order "Extra Sauce" on pizza to get what you used to in the old days.

A true shame, because they're some of my favorite pizza in the Twin Cities, but yet the company could very well be understaffed and in a death spiral like so many in...
