Celebrating my last day at Starbucks! Have been spending $10-$20 per day (every day) the past 10+ years. Today I ask for a Venti Sugarcookie Latte (nearly $7, thank you Democrats), and a breakfast Sandwich (my daily order).
I ask for the ice on the side so I'm not paying $7 for a cup of ice with a little drink poured over it. I get a cup of ice separate as requested, but a drink half full. (Kinda defeats the purpose of what I asked for). I ask the batista to please top it off to the top. She reluctantly ads a little more, saying "we can add a little more". She was nice but just couldn't get herself to fill the drink to the top ;-). Just couldn't do it.
At $7 a drink, I kinda would like a full drink, NOT a half drink with a bunch of ice. Just wanted to say thank you to the batista today who made my decision easier! Will be going to the cold brew from home (non Starbucks brand), saving me around $400 / month ($4800 / year). Hopefully saving that little extra drink for the company makes financial sense...
Read moreThis had to be the worst Starbucks I've ever visited. And it's sad because it's the closest one to me. The last four times I've visited have all been horrendous and today was the last straw. The line outside was wrapped around the building and driving up I saw the inside was relatively empty. I'm super in a hurry to work so this is perfect, I'll just go inside right? My only order was oatmeal. Literally the easiest thing for them to make. Open dried oats. Add water. Done. Right? Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. Not only did I wait over 20 minutes. I had to literally ask for it because they completely forgot about my order while several employees are standing around laughing and giggling about Instagram. And then when I had to stand at the counter and wait... Some more. When I get it, it's super watery. I asked if more oats could be in it and they literally just handed be packets. Basically telling me to make it myself. So I paid Starbucks so that I could make my own oatmeal AND be...
