G's Boro Bar & Grill - Hummelstown — Restaurant in Hummelstown

Haven't been here in awhile and wanted to try it out as I have heard they have the best wings around. The staff was very welcoming as the place was more than half full. Sat in the back had a good view of the TV's. The waitress took our drink order. Good selection of beer on tap and bottles. Was back quick with the drinks and we already knew what we wanted. Ordered a dozen wings medium with Parm. Was only a few minutes and they were served. If you don't like celery you can get carrots by the way. The first few where great and then I hit a few that were over cooked and dry. I only had one flat all the others were drums. Sauce was light on my order to the point I didn't have anything in the basket to coat them up with. The other ordered was perfect with no issue. Will go back again. Poor experience all around. At my table, the first beer that was ordered had a weird, unnatural taste, which was not typical of a Yuengling. So, that was traded in ten minutes later for a flat Miller Lite. The problems don't end there. Service was excruciatingly slow (at least 60 minutes for wings) and the food was not all that great - if you get any dry rub variants, they are the worst, stick to the Pour House on Derry Street or Underdogs on Paxton Street for wings, their quality is much better for a much more reasonable price. Speaking of the dry rub, I clearly ordered the Caribbean Jerk flavor, but it came out Cajun, and it was the driest, blandest chicken I have ever eaten from anywhere, and the food was lukewarm to cold. The wings here are very good. Which is sad! That being said if your not a regular here good luck getting served at the bar! Better off calling in to order or just not going. Unless there are less than 10 cars there. 3rd time this has happend. Went with my father this time and it was busy. One of the bartender finally came up got us a beer and that was it no one ever came to get us food. When I asked about ordering food she said she would tell the other bar tender which she did and the other bartender just ignored us haha. I had to walk out and actually call to make an order.
