Their manager has tried to get me FIRED - GrubHub Driver I took an order at Firehouse, arrived at the restaurant. They said 5 minutes, over about 15 minutes later they put orders up, I looked at the name and frowned once, it wasn't the one I needed again. The manager lost it. She was yelling at me repeatedly in front of her staff, and the customers. This went on and on for a while, she just wouldn't STOP. I didn't yell back or swear. I walked out and called Driver Care to report what happened and unassigned the delivery. She suggested I do that several times while yelling at me. I called (GrubHub) and reported the dreadful behavior this manager had towards me and unassigned the delivery. I went about my day. Perhaps this lady, the manager decided to fabricate this complaint because I have no doubt from the look of the faces on the customers in the restaurant that day, someone may very likely have complained. The point is I NEVER used PROFANITY with her. She is trying to cause me direct harm with her false account of the events from that day. She had kept saying she couldn't stand delivery drivers. I guess she decided to take it out on on me. I've shared my story multiple times. For a company that wants to "give back" there really seems to be no personal accountability within...
Read moreUPDATE: no one has reached out regarding the roaches at my visit. But the owner of this location has replied to “positive reviews” that are dated 3 weeks ago, the same timeframe as my families cockroach experience at the restaurant. Apparently a guest experience with pests running the store is not reply or reach out worthy.
Original post: While having lunch with my family in firehouse, a cockroach was strolling across the floor. No employee seemed concerned that every guest in the dining area was standing up watching it roam. I finally went up to the people talking behind the counters and let them know. A young teen came out and tried to catch it, when it was not catchable the teen began to stomp on it to kill it. I get it but also we are all eating and have been observing this cockroach for about 10 minutes now. I complained to the company about the cockroaches, not ONE representative of this company reached out to me. I guess cockroaches are acceptable in a food setting. I won’t be back after this. Freaking gross and it’s unacceptable that no one reached out to me to ask about my experience at their restaurant. Kinda crappy business practice. It sucks because dang, I love me some firehouse subs. But be warned! There are absolutely cockroaches running in...
Read moreWe just moved here from Florida - This was our first time at a Firehouse Subs … We were excited to try something new for our kids …
When we walked in the store around 6:45pm not one single person even acknowledged that we were there … I could understand if they were super busy but there was NO ONE ELSE there!!!
Since this was our first time there we had a couple of questions about the kids meals … I asked the girl that took our order do you get to choose what goes on the sandwiches and she said yes but the girl actually making the sandwiches never even made eye contact with us or even asked us what we wanted on the sandwiches and continued to make the kids meals “the way they come” …
I am used to kids meals coming in their own bags so I was a little shocked when they put all 3 kids meals in one bag …
My family member said that the ladies restroom was very dirty too with shreds of toilet paper all over the floor and the paper towel dispenser didn’t work either …
When I asked my kids what did they like about their meal they responded ,”the firehat and the prepackaged rice crispy treat.”
Such a disappointing experience for sure … If we ever do go back, it definitely won’t be...
