The original Ny bagels — Restaurant in Huntersville

I was very excited to try this place but had a horrible experience from the time I walked in the door. There was this girl up front with a burnt orange looking hair, she was very unpleasant, was being rude to the guy in front of me. Didn’t get greeted when I walked in just stared at by her. Once she finished taking his order she just walked away as I was standing there. I had a pick up order, let her know, she walks back to the register and proceeds to check me out. I was with a friend at the time, and they wanted to place an order as well since I have placed mine in advance. After she rang me up, he then asked for a bagel with cream cheese, she proceeds to tell him how he needs to wait because she’s trying to give me back my change… Let’s also note that’s completely irrelevant. So my friend goes never mind once he noticed that she had an attitude about it. She then starts laughing and says well okay as she continues to walk behind the counter, where the other person is, who is cooking to talk to her about what just happened. Very unprofessional. I asked for her name and she would not give it to me. She told me that I can call and talk to her manager if I want. But would not give me her name… This was my first time here and I definitely do not recommend and will not recommend anyone back at this place. Not only did I have horrible customer service, but my food was not good as well. My hashbrowns were soggy in a box tasted like they had...

I have visited this location countless times due to my children having gymnastics in the same shopping center. This morning specifically i received the worst customer service i have ever experienced in this establishment. First red flag the employees are unfamiliar with the menu and do not communicate. I brushed it off because this was the third restaurant we visited and the only one without a wait time.

I ordered 3 kids meals and 2 adults and totaled $42.XX i left a tip totaling $50.00. I sat with my family for 15 minutes until i realized EVERYONE that ordered AFTER us received it in no time!!! Literally placed an order and walking out in 2 mins. I assumed it was because of a big order then i realized the cooks were cleaning and taking out trash.

When i asked the cashier about our food she looked confused and started checking old order slips as if she forgot the place the order with the cook or it had already been made. Either way, it was VERY clear we were not going to eat any time soon.

This is totally unacceptable and my family and i SHOULD HAVE been treated like everyone else that occupied that establishment in hopes of getting a great meal. I will NEVER enter an establishment that does not respect my...

This place is amazing! I order from them several times a week. To all of you posting negative reviews and mentioning 'the wait' ... yes there is sometimes a wait during peak times but there is a wait because the food is fresh and cooked when you order it! If your impatient rear ends can't wait for the deliciousness this place offers ... why don't you head to Brueggers where you get your bagel right away because they have stacks of precooked eggs sitting on top of one another just waiting to warmed up for 30 seconds in the microwave. Sounds so yummy! Or maybe McDonalds drive thru would be a better choice. When you go to a breakfast place you normally wait patiently for the food to arrive at your table for about 20 minutes (I surely hope you don't flip out every time there is a wait). So maybe the problem isn't with their service it's with your expectation of them to operate like a fast food establishment ... their food is great (and worth the wait if there is one!)
