Sabor Latin Street Grill — Restaurant in Huntersville

What we got was good, but we found it lacking and high in price.

Service was okay. Guy who took our order was friendly, and they bring the food to you, but you pay up front and they ask for a tip before you really receive service, or any food. So that is strange.

Nachos were good, and the chips were dusted with a little seasoning, a nice touch. Guacamole was chunky, fresh, seemed legit. The rest could have come out of a can, but tasted good enough. Not nearly as many toppings as there is chips - with nachos, it’s better to have toppings left over, since you can grab more chips. Having chips left over is kind of sad.

They do offer salsa, and their salsa is pretty good. Do not underestimate the pineapple habanero, it packs a mean punch! There’s almost no sweetness to be found. The red salsa I tried was good, though.

They offer American soda via a fountain and Mexican soda in bottles. I opted for Mexican Sprite - the difference is real sugar vs corn syrup.

All in all, the food was okay, I just wish the portions were a little bigger. Wife and I paid $30, we should have left full. So, maybe good for lunch. Or, if you’re going for dinner, get a taco or two on the side. They’re priced fairly It seems, around $3 each (exact pricing can be...

Food is decent, but considering that I just spent $11 for three tacos, I think it should include chips. There’s a particular cashier that is super unfriendly and today she lied to my face. A friendly cashier took my order. She handed me my receipt and a number and said “your order will be right out”. I sat on a table right in front of the register and kitchen. I noticed the unfriendly cashier packed up an order and placed it on the counter under a sign that says “online order pick up”. Since I was given a number to put on my table, I wasn’t an online order and she didn’t indicate it was my order (I was right in the front waiting and was the only customer in the restaurant), I continued to wait. After waiting long enough and no one picking up said order, I went up to the unfriendly cashier and asked about my order. She says, that that’s actually my order and that they were calling my number. ?????? I was shocked that she was lying to my face. I said: What?! And then just grabbed my food and walked away. EVERY SINGLE TIME I’ve visited this restaurant this cashier is unfriendly and has an attitude. (This was my 4th visit) I’m debating if...

5/1/2024 8:30PM: Food is good here and will always be good. But this particular Sabor has two children working behind the counter and in the kitchen. They are probably 18, but look and act like 12 year olds. One little kid with the last name of Sosa, made a scene for literally an hour, raising his voice at another female coworker. The female coworker was on the phone the whole time with someone else complaining about Sosa at max volume. When me and my boyfriend were done eating (8:45pm) we threw away our trash and walked out to our car. The girl gathers her things and leaves and the boy follows her out yelling. They both exchange heated words and the girl threatens him with “I hope you have a good night and you best pray that my people don’t find you”! I really doubt she has people but whatever. We had just gotten in our cars and their fighting actually blocked my boyfriend from exiting his parking space. The staff at this place is just unprofessional and immature and I expect more from a fast casual restaurant as good as Sabor. Maybe they should apply to McDonalds right next door they might fit in better there. Anyway foods...
