A whole in the wall to say the least. Those are my favorite spots tho!!! I can't believe I had no idea what wonderful food has been here for so long and I ain't even know it. The resturant is just on the corner of a busy plaza with lots of other food and shops! Inside is small. I ate in at the wobbly table with the half booth in the corner facing a wall. At first I was like ehh I don't know how this place is going to go but the family who owns it is the kindest with the biggest hearts. Very sweet. Very accommodating and the food presentation. It wasn't crazy fancy but it was clean. Each dish was presented with love and you could deffinantly feel it.
So the food. Spring roll was good. Dumplings in my opinion were the perfect consistency fried well but still soft enough. The dipping sauce for them was Devine. I like to add some hot oil to mine for a little kick. I was also really happy they had hot oil because alpt of places just give you Chilli or Sriracha. So that was a plus for me. The bang bang shrimp. That's my new favorite dish. I wanted to eat it all but knew I was just there for tasting. But they were even really good warmed up the next day. Tried the crab Rangoon. It was fried perfect. And presented with a homemade sweet and sour sauce but they were pretty much all dough. Barely any stuffing and I got more onions then crab in most of them. Next of we have the crispy scallion chicken. Wonderful. Crispy. The sauce had a great flavor. It was zesty like orange chicken but also sweet and sticky like honey chicken and the flavors combined wasn't too heavy. I just had it with a little white rice and overall deff will go back. 10/10 recommend you stop in...
Read moreContext: we ordered at 3 PM on Christmas Eve to pick up at 6:45. Got there at 6:47, food not ready for another 30 minutes, so had to wait. I get they’re busy, but they had 3.5 hours to prepare to have it ready on time, rather than have my whole family wait for 30 minutes in the car.
Crab rangoons were the worst I’ve had, they were empty shells, all 6 of them, essentially no filling inside them. The sweet and sour chicken itself was fine, some pieces were a bit burnt (which I’ve never seen before) but the sauce tasted… off. Kinda pungent. The chicken pad Thai was fine, nothing to write home about. I got Panang curry, and it was so bland. The it had almost zero of the typical panang flavor. It looked more like a Chinese dish, usually it’s more soup-like with a lot of sauce, but the sauce was probably only 10% of the volume, and it just didn’t taste anything like Panang curry. A few of the vegetables (broccoli in particular) had a weirdly metallic and pungent taste as well. The calamari tasted okay, but it was so minimal in amount, and wasn’t fried at all (compared to one of the photos in another review below). And to top it off, of the four fortune cookies, 2/4 had no fortune in it hahaha. Safe to say we’ll try other Thai places from...
Read moreI have never left a google review about food. I wanted to make sure that no one does what we just did and orders Fusion 108 food through google. We paid about a 40% upcharge for this food and I felt laughably bamboozled when he brought this food home after picking it up. We have a large family, and when I saw close to $25 for honey chicken and just shy of $15 for an appetizer like calamari - I thought, surely these are large servings that’ll feed us all. The little calamari alone was 13 tiny and soggy rings (sauce(s) advertised did not come with) which comes to over $1 PER RING. We live very close to the restaurant and thought we’d try it out. Even though I now know that the prices are lower on their personal website, the mere fact that it is allowed to be so high on another has left a bad taste in my mouth, and frustration in my pocket. We could have gone out for a nice dinner as a family with each of us satisfied with a full portion of food for the price we paid. Never again. I thought about calling the restaurant to give them an opportunity to explain but the fact that it’s been made allowable makes me think it would have been a waste of time, just like this waste...
