Our visit started out with the surprise it was a sushi place you order at the counter and they bring it to you on a tray. We didn't get any plates or anything. We did find some Styrofoam plates on a table for us to use. The next surprise was that the girl behind the cash register had no idea what I was talking about when I asked if she had anything besides rolls, that I wanted Sushi pieces. She told me yes that the Yellow Tail was just individual sushi with fish on the top. That was not true, they only have rolls. Lots of rolls with different kinds of mayonnaise based sauces. We ordered the roll named Yummy without the mayonnaise sauce and tuna rolls. The Yummy roll was completely inedible. The tuna was all right. My son was very hungry and so he ate it. As hungry as he was he could not choke down the other roll. I couldn't eat it. I took it back to the counter and they agreed to give me two more of the roll which my son could eat. But when it was handed to us the fish was very bright red or really dull with bright red swirls. It was horrible. It took a really long time to get the slimy oily nasty fish taste out of my mouth. Read moreI have eaten at this establishment twice. Both during lunch time. Both call in and pick up take out. The first time we had a group order for our office, I had black hair in my food. This was a few weeks back. Today I decided to give them another shot because accidents do happen. We are human.
I get my takeout back to the office and my first bite contains a small black hair. I showed my coworkers because there was no way this just happened to me again.
I called into the store to give them a heads up. Obviously if it has happened to me twice it has happened to others. I spoke with TWO women before I even spoke to the managers. All three in which I had to tell the story over to. When the manager got on the phone, not only did she have attitude but she was questions which part of the food it was in. What it looked like. And let me know in her 10 years of business that this was the first time anyone had called in about finding hair in their food. WOW. Great customer service.
Then continued to ask me to send a picture of it to her. Let me remind you that I never even asked for a refund. Just called in to give a heads up.

This is a place where you get it to-go. Chose to dine in and was thinking things would come out on plates...WRONG.....gave us our food in togo boxes. No big deal. Entire restaurant was a mess honestly. Sticky tables, shrimp sauce was being portioned in the back of dining room but was just left sitting out for God knows how long. Terse guy at the front at some point ended up back there portioning out more sauces. Do you not have a prep space in the back?
Their doordash/uber tablets all sit out in the already small dining room. Just a disorganized location.
The food waa quick, the food was hot. Nothing wow about it. Chicken was good, shrimp sauce was iight, rice was good. It satisfied my craving for hibachi but i don't think I'll go back.
