I had an awful experience at this location Saturday 5/10 around 2.30pm. I ordered a green smoothie to bring to my best friend who’s hospitalized. The clerk poured the smoothie in a clear plastic cup. I kindly asked if I could have a styrofoam cup as I didn’t want the smoothie to melt while driving to the hospital. She, her name is Alicia, told me I could not as they were almost out of styrofoam cups. (I saw a tower of at least 10 cups) I asked if I could buy one instead. She said they were $0.25 so I gave her a $10 bill. The extremely arrogant Alicia person had the audacity to ask me if I really wanted to split the $10 bill to get a cup. Ehhh, how else could I pay for it? I asked for the manager but she claims she is the manager. Anyhow the other person working that day was a young man, a high school aged boy with great dark hair in a stylish messy style. He told this Alisha person to stop and told her he had a quarter in his car and that he’ll pay for the cup. He went out to get it. It was a very mature, kind and brave gesture to stand up for a customer to the manager. Kudos to that kid, and shame on you Alicia. It’s not my fault you forgot to restock cups, as a customer I expect to get my smoothie served in an appropriate cup. I also wonder if my 25 cents would have helped solve their issue. Read moreI call smoothie king 4/7 days a week to grab a smoothie every morning I go to work. This is the worse location. They once made me late to work bc a smoothie that was put in 20minutes before my arrival, was never made and I had to wait 10minutes for them to finish the smoothie.
Well this morning they he young girl on the phone insisted that they don’t take call on smoothie orders over the phone. And that I can go through the app.
I always call them in or order in the app and never have any problems. Today on the morning of 5/14, a young girl completely doesn’t want to take my order so I can just swing in and grab it. She insist she will not take an order over the phone for pickup.
This is the only location I have these problems with. No smoothie made when I order through the app, then acting like they can take my order over the phone.
Tell me why the location on Derita Rd. NEVER gives me problems, greets me and it’s respect and always has my smoothie ready for me, call or or mobile order is always ready.
This location is trash and most of the employees are lazy. Except one woman who sometimes works mornings by herself. She’s great. All the young kids you have running the place can’t seem to get it right. I spend too much $$ at smoothie king to be told I can’t place a pick up order when I do this every morning before work. According to google, they close at 8pm, I live right around the corner so my husband and I went over, only for no one to be there, lights off, door locked. In the 2 minutes we stood outside wondering why it was closed 15 minutes before they were supposed to be, FIVE other people also pulled into the parking lot thinking it was open, because it should’ve been. I was highly upset over this situation and this strongly discourages me from going back.
