So this place is hit and miss most of the time it's great but on the weekends they work this one person who literally every time they're on the register I'm in the Drive-Thru line for over an hour(no exaggerating) I just went there a few days ago and I asked the current worker if they knew who I was talking about and she smiled and said "yeah he still works here". Two weekends in a row I spent over an hour in line at del taco... Shameful. The first time this happened to their debit machine was also down (they had to reset the system or something and he literally tried to convince me to go somewhere else rather than wait the 10 minutes while he reset the system but I wasn't going anywhere I should have known then this is going to be a problem because it didn't take 10 minutes it took at least 35 minutes for the reset before they started taking orders again as slow as molasses) so it was cash only and as the person in front of me pulled up to the window he went straight through past the window and I realized that he had to wait that entire hour and didn't even order anything cuz he didn't have any cash on him but was stuck in line.. I wish I had known he didn't order anything I would have paid for his food somebody's actually done that for me at this del Taco, more than once the car in front of me has paid for my entire order) I guess things that could have been worse for me right? I wanted to contact corporate and complain both times but somehow this guy manages to get me through the line without a receipt every time.. the first time after waiting that long my order was so messed up that I waited in line again and I had to give him back my receipt to show him what he missed giving me and he never gave it back.. I hate to just leave it a horrible review because everyone else that works there is fantastic including I think her name is Debbie or Deborah really funny smiley person that works the drive through on the weekend sometimes... she's fantastic. While its not an isolated incident... Its more like an isolated person who I hope won't be at this location for very long because there's never any problems here except for when he's working. Read moreThis was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I arrived at this location at 10:40 pm, had our order taken by 10:43 and received it by 10:52 pm (yes I knew exact times because I was fully aware what time the lobby closed). Upon picking my food up, I was "informed" the restaurant would be closing in 5 minutes. "Celeste" was rude and I actually had to ask her what she said because I was caught off guard. I asked one of the gentlemen throwing trash away what her name was, just so I could go out of my way to make this review (to give you an idea how ticked off this made me).
I felt incredibly rushed, in fact I wasn't even able to finish my food. I ended up throwing some of it away because I was not comfortable asking for a to-go bag.
As I was leaving I watched as Celeste turn away a patron from buying food at 11:01 pm, as I walked out.
I've eaten at Del Taco in 3 separate states now, (California, Nevada, Utah) and never have I been treated soo poorly by a restaurant employee. In fact, I even know the company policy for patrons eating in. They are allowed to stay and finish their food in peace while you lock the doors, not be rude and tell them they're going to need to leave so you can clean the lobby.
P.s. it's now 11:30 pm and you guys STILL haven't touched the dining room, I'm sitting outside. How you treated me there is absolutely no excuse.
Celeste obviously does not care about her job with how she treats customers. If I eat Del Taco, I'll be going out of my way now to visit 5856 Warner Ave Del Taco location here...
Read moreWhat an absolute disgrace! My son and his friends stopped in for a quick bite in the drive-thru. When my son bit into his bean and cheese burrito he found that a whole paper napkin had been rolled the whole length of the burrito. When we went back to show the store employees, the cashier at the window was laughing as if it were funny. My son said she had done so when he was leaving the first time as well. Maybe messing with someone else’s business reputation is funny to her. My son and his 4 friends have vowed not to eat from this establishment again.
I did return with him to demand money back for the meals they had no intention of eating. After having us wait a bit to find a duplicate receipt (the cashier neglected to give them one) she did refund the purchase.
I asked to speak to the manager but was told that he was not in. I asked for the managers name, but when I called the next day, I was told that no one by that name was employed there.
I did preserve the food item, and I left the item rolled as it came from this establishment with the intent of alerting the...
