MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

I used to come to this place more often when I lived nearby. Yesterday was my first visit after a while. I was greeted as I walked in and started on my order. The guy was helping me wasn't that familiar with all the items since he had to repeatedly as another person where different items were. I finished my order and went to the bathroom to wash my hand and I noticed the restroom was not clean. The floor was dirty and there were dust on top of all fixtures and the paper towel dispenser wasn't operating right. I tried to get a coke from the self service machine and it was not working either. I asked someone to fix it but they didn't do anything about it. I asked the second time and they just said they are out and put a hand written sign on it. Other drinks they offered was almost empty as well. They had coke bottles in their fridge but they didn't offer those to replace my drink. I ordered mine there for take out. I think the pizza is excellent but overpriced for take out. I would probably do the same again, but expect there is pizza just as good from other outlets.

It's a bit like subway for pizza. You pick and choose your toppings and they stick it in the oven. The oven is very fast, so you are leaving 10 minutes after building your raw pizza.

Good quality ingredients, but nothing special, typical cheap toppings for pizza that lack flavor. The standard cheese was good.

First time here on a recommendation, and pizza was excellent, but the young guy putting our toppings on wasn't very friendly, and kinda got huffy when I asked for extra sauce. This was kinda cobfussing, cause its a build your own custom pizza place, so he shouldn't cop an attitude for putting toppings on. I asked very nicely too, and we ended up tipping a good chunk of change too. When we went to the counter get dipping sauces, the girl behind the counter was very nice & provided excellent customer service. I would come again. If we experience rude service again getting toppings, I wouldn't return. There are plenty of other great pizza joints we like that offer...
