Taqueria Don Victor — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

“I walked in this morning hoping to be greeted, as it should be in every restaurant. Three servers walked by and didn’t even look my way or said “good morning”. I went to the cashier and saw no one there for a bit. Then someone came out and didn’t even attend the cash register, and walked back in. Once they finally came back, i ordered something that they only make today (el mixiote), and said they didn’t have any. I was really frustrated but I didn’t leave until I heard a good response about them finally making them.” - my dad, who misses his favorite food, getting horrible service in the only place they make it.

I’m truly disappointed in this Mexican restaurant. The prices are extreme, even though they know the majority of their customers are their own people. It used to good, and we would eat on the weekends sometimes. I don’t know what happened to this business that they just decided to become effortless in almost everything.

Oh, the amount of alcoholics that cram into this place. It paints a horrible picture of what Mexico really is about. Of course, they can’t do anything about what kind of customers they attract, but they can avoid excessive drinking by limiting their alcohol consumption. Overall, this place is the worst. The food is like 30% more expensive then other places, I stop by to eat a Conzome like I like to do every time on the weekend that I’m in town, This time Victor the owner service my conzome wiht a lots of Garbazos, I brought it up to his a tention and he start arguing with me, refusing to address or fix the problem... Claiming that “is the way they served conzome ( conzome comes wiht some... my bowl was full to the top) I ask him to just poor more broth and I will be happy, he refuse claiming he has to get another dish dirty, can not do that.. I said What!!! This employee is kidding or what... then I ask for a refunded my money. He argue once more claiming that already I had alredy touch it. Then I ask to talk to the owner or manager and he reply I’m the owner... What a horrible example this guy Victor is showing to the crew, screw your costumers, don’t take care of them, just a total disregard of costumer service. ..... finally an employee apologize and as easy as was.... grab a new bowl of conzome and hand to me.

I was there on a Friday. i ordered 1 breakfast burrito and 2 barbacoa tacos, 1 bottle coke 1 agua frescas Foos is on point service sucks Super super over-priced o know everything is going up on prices, but here Is bad, but My mexican soda was a mini bottle coke The people sitting in front of me they also ordered a bottle coke but there was a half litter, and we both got the checks at the same time so i ask them what was the price for there drink and it was the same price of my $5.75 tax included ..so i ask the server that way i was getting charged the same price if there was a big difference in size . He told me go and ask the manager So i did He answered me well, that's the price. Just pay it and leave . I dont think it is figth getting charge the same price for a product that is not the same . Very bad...
