Steadfast Cafe — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

Edit: I went back and got the breakfast sando with bacon and another vanilla latte, this time hot. The sandwich is amazing and fresh and not dry. I began going at the beginning of my pregnancy walking over and in the last trimester stopped because I was huge and tired. Perhaps something changed in the last 3 or 4 months but this food at least was great and better than from a breakfast restaurant. The coffee was better... but I still feel it could be improved. It was not how it was the last few times I went. I mentioned the other coffee shops in hopes the owners might give them a taste (I'm not paid by those shops...) and see what they're up to. I do want to continue purchasing here.

I'm going to be honest here. The coffee is never good like other local places like MoonGoat, Succulent, or Burnt Umber coffee... I have ordered iced vanilla lattes multiple times and they always taste watered down and not great. I see the proper equipment there so I am not sure why it doesn't ever taste that great. My husband doesn't care what coffee he guzzles down his throat and we went here because we were close by and it was convenient... he wasn't a fan and didn't even finish it to get his money's worth (he hates wasting food). The little food items are dry and not great. I keep trying this place hoping it improves since I have been going since it opened (I've had it about 5 times) and it is just not great. The girls are super nice though. I wanted a place I could walk to with my baby for good coffee and this just doesn't hit the mark for me. I have been wanting to stop by Steadfast Cafe for a while now and I'm happy I finally made it. It is their six-month anniversary. 🥳🎉

The ambiance is friendly, welcoming, and relaxing. The staff was attentive, kind, and social which is great. The staff appeared to be happy to be there unlike a lot of other places which shows based on the atmosphere.

They have music playing, it's a cute little spot with outdoor seating.

I ordered their Blue Moon drink, Steadfast drink, and a Turkey Sando(sandwich).

The Blue Moon drink was refreshing, with coconut water, matcha, and center. For the people who love coconut water and aren't much of a sweet drink type of person, this drink is for you. It was refreshing and if I try next time I'll ask for sweeter(just personal preference).

The Steadfast drink is sweet but not too overwhelmingly sweet which balanced the Blue Moon. It reminded me of the pink drink but better.

Turkey Sando (sandwich) was fresh and delicious. It consisted of turkey, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo.

It is a good spot for food, drinks, and positive vibes due to the staff and their superb customer service.

A new variety of coffee is in town, well maybe no new, but definitely great! Apparently I'm not the only one who decided to try something new, this place was bustling with business, is that a word? Hah! I had the Honey Vanilla Latte, and a Spinach Quiche, the latte had layers of flavor, a hint of cinnamon, a mellow sweet flavor with a robust coffee nut roast - absolutely amazing. When the very nice person took my order she asked if I liked my coffee strong or sweet and based on how I answered she would make a recommendation. I love both so she made me the Honey vanilla latte! She also recommended the Spinach Quiche which was very very good. May I add that the small size comes with 2 shots of espresso not one! Love that! The prices were very competitive in comparison to other places I have purchased, and by that I mean I saved a little (insert grateful) . There were plenty of tables and even a booth, the music was not overwhelming, it wasn't super loud, and there was just a general sense that this new business covered their bases to make it inviting and relaxing.
