Went looking for desserts and drinks after a long day of shopping. I was Yelping and noticed this spot was fairly new with only one review. Why not try something new?!

Parking: Plenty of free parking. They’re located in a big plaza, so finding a spot is easy.

Ambiance/Environment: They have a small space with very limited indoor & outdoor seating. It’s really clean inside with cute decor.

Service: Shout out to Alisa! She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations! She even gave us samples of açaí bases. Although we initially wanted açaí bowls, the drinks really appealed to us. Alisa also recommended some popular drinks for us. Throughput took 10 min after ordering.

Drinks:

1. The OG - This included peanut butter, banana, chocolate plant protein, oat milk, cacao drizzle, & topped off w/ peanut butter crumble. I absolutely loooved my drink! It surprisingly wasn’t too sweet! I will say the chocolate does overpower the peanut butter, but it was still good.

2. Bro Rogan - This included vanilla whey protein, strawberry, banana, peanut butter, creatine, mushroom blend, almond milk, mashed strawberry on the bottom, & topped w/ peanut butter crumble. My bf also enjoyed his drink! I took a sip and really liked the strawberry bits on the bottom.

Pricing: We thought it was worth it, especially for the sizes we got. The only feedback we have is having more straw options. The straws they gave us were the only ones they had. They were extremely small, in terms of diameter, for the large...

I went in there on Thursday it was my first time. There was a couple in front of me and no one else. I asked for the smoothie called island dream. The cashier proceeded to ask what size and I said the biggest one they had. The other employee made the smoothie and bowl for the couple in front of me. The girl finished taking my order and just stood there instead of helping the guy. When he called out our order I didn’t take it because I got a smoothie but apparently that’s what I ordered. I said I got the island dream. The girl who took my order said you said you wanted the biggest one. Correct because I wanted to share a SMOOTHIE with my little girls. Also she had to look at the menu multiple times to understand what smoothie I had ordered, which was again the island dream right there in the menu They charged me $15.50 I looked and the smoothie only costed 10.50. Let me start by saying I LOVE Tru Bowl acai bowls. We go to the location where we live in NorCal and in different places in SoCal. However... While on a trip to Huntington Beach I have come twice to this location between 9 and 9:30 in the same week and NO ONE is here. Everything says they open and 9 and they even let you place online orders starting at 9 but NO ONE is here. I know that they know better because the first time I came back at 10 and the guy gave me a free juice because I told him I had waited from 9-9:25. And then I come back a few days later and they are late opening again.
