Pros- For this RV Park, it’s all about location, location, location! You are in the heart of Huntington Beach walking distance to the pier walking distance to main street shopping dining and walking right out of your RV and going right to the beach. You do get water hook ups and electrical hook ups. You do not have sewer hook ups, but they do have a dump station there. The restrooms that they have on the map are actually the public restrooms so be warned and use your own lol. On the beach they have beach bonfire pits but you are allowed to bring a fire pit as long as it is 8 inches off the ground and have it at your campsite.
As for the cons- once again, I said you’re in the heart of Huntington Beach so there are going to be homeless people walking around. Make sure you lock your stuff up at night. There are going to be the people walking around having bonfires on the beach with music the beach does close at 10pm which was nice and they do go around kicking everyone off the beach at 10pm, but since there is a bike path right behind the RV park, people can use that at any time. They do dump the dumpsters on Monday mornings (maybe other days too?) at 5 o’clock in the morning so we got woken up by the dumpster being dumbed that early- I get it they have to dump them before everyone starts using the bike path. You are right off of the PCH so you will get those people that think they’re cool to rev their engines or race, their cars or race their motorcycles right on the highway so sometimes it gets loud.
I wish it was more quiet and serene but once again, it’s all about location my family had a wonderful time there we loved to wake up every morning to a...

First impression: KUDOS to the City for developing this public space. It's clean and access to beach and boardwalks and pier is incredible. ❤️❤️
Big rig friendly?... KINDOF
Location: Great location because it is RIGHT ON THE BEACH. However, it's barely big rig friendly. Spaces actually are wide, but not long enough, & no sewer hookups. Driving in and out is also problematic because of narrow roads, tight corners and a semi-gnarly tight entrance and tire slicing knives you don't want to mess with.
Employees & checkin: Very helpful and friendly. Checkin was quick. If traveling as a group of big rigs, the entrance can only hold 3-4 before others have to hold up traffic on the busy 101 highway.
Noise: Highway 101 is ADJACENT. The only thing between your space and the very busy and noisy highway is a sidewalk. Night time bars across the street are also fairly noisy. A lot of racing traffic at night.
Security: One of our group members had their e-bikes almost stolen after going to bed. The cable locking the bikes to the rack was cut, but the mechanism for holding the bikes onto the rack was too tight to get them off. But seriously... it's a target area for BS thieves.
Final note: Not the greatest for big rigs, lots are a bit short and no sewer hookups. HOWEVER, it's clean, has nice people working, and LOCATION LOCATION...
Read moreGood spot to have your bikes stolen. Easy access for thieves. Locks & chains not much of a deterrent for them. Also have homeless people digging through the garbage cans at 3 a.m. every morning (probably as they're scoping out the campsites). Then during the day all week, it's just construction noise from setting up for a music concert the following wkend. The plus? When you report stolen property, they are sympathetic & let you know it happens. Homeless people coming around at 3 a.m., ya bc that's when the camp security leaves & HB police aren't quite on patrol yet. We camp a lot & this is first place we've been too where you have to lock everything down tight just to walk over to the beach just on the other side of the railing. Don't expect to feel rested between the construction, traffic noise, & dance club that's popping until 3 a.m. then the homeless guy comes to root root around your site & trash cans. Also, dogs allowed but not on any of the beaches within walking distance. No return...
