The food selection isn't incredibly broad, but what they do offer is fairly well done. I've enjoyed their sliders (mini beget burger, pulled pork, fried chicken) and a PBJ burger with bacon. The giant pretzels are decent, l like the horseradish honey mustard dipping sauce paired with a good beer cheese. I've gotten one pizza before, more or less personal sized, I don't think they do larger, maybe they do, but good overall. Service can be a bit slow as sometimes the place is just busy, and a relatively light staff; don't often see a second bartender in the trenches. It's a cozy feeling restaurant, medium size bar top, plenty of other restaurant seating available typically. They do have a separate section that can be used for events, I'm sure you just ask for a day, time, and number of people, they'd provide the section and catering depending on the arrangement. For me, I especially appreciate the craft brews they have on draft that rotate fairly often, and that there is a good 3-6 that seem to swith fairly often. They also have a few cold cases of craft brews, ciders, kambucha, non alcoholic options for to go sales. Modest selection of wines. Overall, it's a great little neighborhood spot, mostly locals. Oh, and they also have regular events there, dinner specials,...
Read moreI would give this place NEGATIVE stars if I could. In there on Friday night with some friends to enjoy Nice and Swell, basically family. Were excited to try a new place at that and it was the Worst experience. Paid for a couple of drinks together and was brought over 1 of those drinks and told we had to wait for the others which were Already paid for. Needless to say, my friend and her husband got up and left because of the rudeness of said cocktail server. She had long brunette braid pigtails. After an hour we were still waiting for drinks and asked to speak to a manager. Girl went and grabbed another server to pose as a manager. When I finally went up to the bar to demand to speak to an actual manager, think her name may have been Christina Garcia, she gifted us with 2 draft beers, not our Easy premium vodka drinks that we had ordered long before and paid for. What kinda service is this?? Just curious?? Not once was there an apology, or a “let me get those drinks for you right now!” Thanks for the wonderful experience. We will surely never be back here and will be sure to tell Everyone we know in HB about you guys and your work ethic!!!! ...
Read moreI came here for brunch with a friend and I couldn’t believe how wonderful their food is! I don’t know if it is because they are thought of as a tap room, but it’s not crowded in the morning, and they have a delectible brunch menu. We went simple, I had Casie’s burrito (one of 3 different burrito options), which had just the right amount of melty cheese and the green sauce with it was fresh, thick and so flavorful. My friend went standard pancakes. The pancakes were anything but standard, fluffy and covered with pour on softened butter and REAL maple syrup. Delicious. We each ordered a traditional mimosa, which was made correctly with a splash of of orange juice in a reasonable sparkling wine, not like the horrible sweet stuff you get at the all you can drink places. This is becoming my must hit spot when I travel to Orange County after having a similar experience previously for lunch and...
