Turcs Cocktails — Restaurant in Huntington Beach

The extremely rude bartender scared away the new customers we enthusiastically planned to become. We were exploring the town and after the dinner in Italian restaurant we grabbed the rest of our Merlot we couldn't finish and headed home. On our way we were charmed by this little gem - Turcs Cocktails. As we loved how the vibe seemed and we are always eager to support such classic bars we decided to come in to grab a soda or a beer to enjoy the place - the only problem was the bottle of wine we had - we stopped in front of entrance for literally like 5 seconds wondering if we should throw it away or just enter and inform a bartender while obviously not planning on drinking it inside but ordering at the bar when suddenly.... the angry bartender came out of nowhere almost breaking down the door (we were surprised how fast he even managed to move) yelling at us for allegedly consuming alcohol in front of his bar when we never opened or intended to open it. Such a rude thing. Of course he made us turn back immediately and whole place lost all the vibe in a second. Don't remember that we were ever treated in such a rude manner...

First and last time I will go to this place! Not gay friendly!! Bartender let people smoke pot at the bar.. And the worst part you cannot even get the drink you would prefer because they don't have bitters?? Come on!! Really! When I asked the bartender why people were smoking pot? She rudely responded " am I supposed to be policing the bar? Well it's your responsibility to know what's going on in the establishment during your shift.. especially when the pot is being smoked right at the bar! Felt sorry for her uneducated responses so I still left her a good tip! Note to the owner know who you hire and who you trust with your business! She may be hot, But lacks true professionalism as a barternder! Therefore turcs in my opinion...

My first visit to Turcs was on a Saturday night, and I enjoyed it. When our group of four first arrived there were only a couple other people there, most of whom were seated at the bar, so we ordered a round of drinks and retreated to the corner to play their oversized Jenga set. Several rounds of drinks later, and several rounds of Jenga (most of which I lost) later, we headed out. But the cheap drinks poured by friendly staff meant I came away impressed, and if I'm bar hopping in the area again I definitely intend to stop by for another round (but first I need to...
