Truly an affordable Italian restaurant (App + 2 Entrees + Dessert + Coffee + Tax + Tip) under $60!

Calamari was fried well, portions were great and overall a very satisfying starter

Italian wedding soup was unlike what I've had in the past but was still good

Pasta Our Way was a great way to sample the meatball and sausage - sauce and pasta were delicious but I didn't care for the consistency of their meats. I felt that the meatball and sausage were too soft and would have preferred a coarser grind

Margherita Pizza - crust had just the right chew, well seasoned and held its own with the toppings. The sauce brought great acidity and depth of flavor and thought the mozzarella had just the right balance of saltiness and creaminess

Tiramisu - 9 out of 10 times its a miss for me until I had Romano's version. Simply the best Tiramisu I have had to date and good lord the size of that sucker is a deal in itself!

Overall Thoughts

Amazing Italian food at an affordable price, what more can...

This place is disgusting. First of all the food is gross. I have tasted frozen lasagna that is more legit than this. The so called ā€œbolognese sauceā€ which tasted like something out of a jar, ended up having some pieces of rubber inside of it. Check the picture out. This must have been simmered into everyone else’s sauce, but I was unfortunately the one to bite into it.

After this, the manager was notified and he didn’t come out to deal with it for 15 minutes. Either a coward or just doesn’t care since this probably happens a lot. Instead of coming out, he hid in the back and kept packaging to go orders. He came out eventually with some weak excuse, and offered dessert. We passed on eating more non-food items.

Save yourself the trouble, it’s hard to imagine that this place has reviews because the food is disgusting...

I was highly disappointed in this restaurant. I called ahead to find out about seating times and was told, "a few minutes.". We arrived about 10 minutes later at 7pm and were told it would be 30 minutes. We were finally seated at 8 pm.

The lighting was so dim it was almost impossible to read the menu

The noise was so loud I couldn't even hear the server tell us about the daily special. He had to repeat himself every time he came to the table. My wife and I could not enjoy conversation at all.

The bread they brought out was flavorless white bread loaf. Nothing special.

The food was average. Flavorful, yet everything else had already ruined dinner for us.

We will not return to this...

Very classic Italian restaurant, dark and a little moody, a little run down, bordering on nostalgic. Good casual date night location. The outdoor patio has a good amount of heaters and was comfortable on a spring evening. This is the first Italian restaurant other than Nardo we've returned to in the area. Their Alfredo sauce is literal perfection. The espresso martini was quite good Shrimp scampi pasta was a little disappointing compared to the Alfredo. The Calamari appetizer was solid but overly seasoned and over battered. Spaghetti and meatballs were ok. The cheesecake seemed to be canoli inspired and was pretty good. Love the wine Wednesday half of a bottle wine special

For the guy that was complaining about the food and the atmosphere, I don't know what he was talking about. This place is charming as hell. I ordered the shrimp scampi and I had eight shrimps and the flavor was the best I've ever had. Two of our party had sausage and meatball on spaghetti. The meatball was the size of a baseball!! My father in law is a meatball expert and and this was better than his!! ( Sorry Frank, but it was!). 2 others had fettuccini Alfredo and cleaned their plates! Awesome for, awesome atmosphere!!
