I was recommended by a friend to DermFx for Juvederrm ultra lip filler, Realizing the office across from where I lived I thought perfect, I can walk to get my lips done. The customer service and staff was sweet, that day was hectic for me but once I arrived they put me at ease, I had my lips filled with a full syringe and was warned I would bruise. I had the procedure done,but when I was leaving I noticed I was not made a follow up and so asked but said Its not usually needed. Bruising and swelling is exactly what happened really bad. It was my first time getting filled so I wasn't sure how I would react. Two weeks later and I was bruise free and swelling was gone but I started to see the lip filler material bumping up in my inner lips pretty bad. It would show when I would talk and friends and my husband started pointing it out. I called the office and was told if I wanted to add more filler I can but would be cost me the filler. I thought it wasn't about adding filler to it as it was about smoothing the lumps I was worried so I went to another doctor for thier opinion without saying anything they pointed out the material was not smoothed out. In fact they explained how firm the filler is and it must be molded and worked when injected. I informed him and the nurse all I had was some pinching of my lips with the doctor injected me so that was why the outcome. I was mortified at my outcome after hearing about this as I have had work done before on other areas and never had problems. The doctor I went to offered to fix my lips for me which I had to pay for of course as I had two options, fix it or leave the lumps. It is taking two sessions to fix it but the first session so far he has worked a miracle smoothing out my bumpy lips and also molding the filler to give me the pout I didn't feel I got the first time with DermFX. I never bruised with new work, I go back this week to finish fixing the bumps on my lips as he felt it would be too much trauma trying to fix it all the damage at once. I had a buckle fat removal procedure to remove volume surgically from my face. I would never in a million years tell ANYONE to add volume to my cheeks or cheekbones. I came in for my temples and jawline to be enhanced with Sculptra. I have vary hallow temples and clearly needed some volume there. How did I manage to walk out with my absolute worst nightmare :(( truly devastating. When you look in the mirror everyday and see your face changed because Nurse Shannon decided to change your over all facial structure without any conversation or consent, you start to loose your mind. that is what has happened to me. I live my life thinking about how I can get my face out of Jail. all day long I am googling how to break down Sculptra. nothing can be done. can you believe I have a permanent filler in my mid face and I came in for the lateral part of my face to be treated so my cheeks would be Picked up du to treating the edges of the face not ever desiring to have pillow face. This place has horrific reviews. Laser burns, filler malfunctions as well as infections. So many bad reviews pushed to the bottom of their review page. I would have given anything to have done my research before coming here. My face is permanently ruined By Nurse Shannon. I am disturbed by my outcome. Feel free to message me with any questions. Horrible!!! I had Ipl and I was burned so badly. I was in a lot of pain during the procedure and had told the technician multiple times during the procedure that it was painful and burning. Immediately after finishing it became clear that I was burned. multiple people came in and tried to assure me that I was fine and I had the perfect skin and not to worry I would be perfect in a week. The next morning I had huge blisters on my face and open weeping burns. I immediately went back and they still tried to tell me I would be fine in a week. I had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my face. I had open weeping wounds on my face for nearly 3 months. I have been to five specialist since this incident, none of these Doctors have ever seen such bad burns from an IPL. I now have horrible scars on my face, I have lost elasticity and have a rough texture to my skin....
