Nicely shaded beachy access, especially great for parents with younger ones. Lots of trees in the park area but be warned they drop some kind of fruit that looks like fig and its all over the sidewalk. Kid park area was nice even for 11 year olds. My 9 and 12 year old girls love the park area and enjoyed the swings. They do have swings for the babies and toddlers with the leg holes and the regular swings. Beach area seemed pretty clear of glass, smoke buds and other random dangerous stuff you may find at the regular beachy areas. Lots of room kn the sand and mostly parents and their little ones with an occasional teen and/or college kid tanning or reading. Not many creepy transient people either. Great spot to have a full on picnic with some water play time. Parking is plenty and there is a bathroom. Enjoy this sweet spot in the cut for the next time you don't want to be around the crowds at the beach...

SeaBridge Park is a wonderful hidden little park that backs up to the harbor. There's a few spots for barbecuing along with some concrete tables and scattered benches. Some beautiful large trees grow out from the edges of the park providing plenty of shade.

Here you will find a pirate themed playground for older kids (5 to 12 years) complete with tightrope and plank. Some scavenger hunt activities are posted around the park that can even encounage the adults to participate! There's a 2 swings for bigger kids, 2 toddler swings and a parent and me swing for the littles. Plan accordingly as this spot is easy to spend a day at.

🚻 Bathrooms are decent complete with showers to wash off the sand. (Fishing spots nearby.)

🚗 Parking is plentiful with multiple lots to choose from

Really a pretty great spot. I call it the 909er beach for all those IE residents who cant swim, but I digress. Pretty cool pirate themed playground with swings, seesaw, and slides. The park has a bathroom. There is a roped off area where swimmers are not supposed to go past in the water, and boaters, kayakers and paddle boarders know not to enter that point. There are trees that provide shade, couple of picnic tables, and one of those charcoal grills you see in most parks. What's even better than all this is that the "beach" is on a quieter back channel of the harbor, so few boats go past, so its quiet and not much chop in the water to scare the more...

School’s back, but it’s still summer weather! ☀️ If you’re looking for a baby beach this weekend, try Seabridge Park in Huntington Beach 🏖️. It’s shallow with no waves, sits in a harbor, and the area is roped off for swimming. There are also lifeguards on duty. 🛟 Next to the beach is a park with playground 🛝. #seabridgepark #babybeach #huntingtonbeach #thingstodowithkids #familydayout #thingstodoinorangecounty #orangecounty

Summer is almost upon us, so it felt like a good time to recap my favorite beach playgrounds in Orange County! All of these beach playgrounds have parking and restrooms close by, but I recommend you use the trolley in the summertime to avoid the headaches of traffic and parking. 🏖️ Marina Park in Newport Beach. This one is waveless, so perfect for littles! They are also hosting an outdoor movie (Disney’s Lightyear) THIS Friday May 19 at 7pm. There will be FREE popcorn, candy, and activities. Make sure to bring a chair and blanket, along with jackets, to make sure you are comfortable! 🏖️ Huntington Beach All Inclusive Playground: Close to the pier, as well as an accessible beach walkway that allows wheel chairs to get better access to the ocean. 🏖️ Aliso Beach Playground: Great playground, but BIG waves! Not the best for swimming. There is a trolley stop here, which makes it convenient if you don’t want to deal with traffic and parking. 🏖️ Main Beach in Laguna Beach: Close to all the shops, art galleries, and Heisler Park. Kids love playing on the “lifeguard tower” in the play structure. Other Beach/ Playground Combinations: 🏖️ Davenport Beach & Booster Park in Huntington Beach: Waveless beach, small and good for littles. You need to walk from the park to the beach, but it is very close. Parking is very limited since it is a residential area. 🏖️ Seabridge Park: Very similar to Booster Park, in the same area of Huntington Beach 🏖️ Balboa Peninsula Park: Down the road from Marina Park. Better if you want waves or to be near the Balboa Fun Zone & Ferry 🏖️ Seal Beach Pier Playground: Haven’t been to this one but I hope to check it off this summer! Are there any other playgrounds I left off?
