Let's just say I want to try the whole menu. I was just passing through the area for work and wanted something quick for lunch. I stopped in and was greeted promptly and the hostess was genuinely friendly. She offered to help with the menu so I took her up and asked what was most popular. She recommended the burritos and tacos and I was already wanting the fish tacos but she also recommend the Al pastor. I went with one Al pastor, one grilled fish, and one breaded fish. They were all seriously amazing and bursting with flavor. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. Also, the the tacos were stuffed to the rim and were honestly a little messy but more than worth the mess and worth every penny. Even though I like trying new places, I definitely want to go back and try a burrito if I'm back in the area. Another thing to note is the peppercinis. They were the freshest, spiciest, and best peppercinis ever!!! I need to find...

I grew up in LB and frequented the 2nd street and surfside locations often. Went right before the fire and was stoked to visit after the reopening. Went in for lunch today around 1:30. We were seated in a section that wasn’t very busy (maybe 3 tables occupied) and sat for 15 mins before having to ask for chips and salsa, and shortly thereafter our waiter came to take our drink and food order. We ordered a pacifica, no booze mule, and a mexican coke- 20 more mins passed with no drinks- we then inquired about when they would be coming and asked for a couple waters. 5 mins later food started coming out and slowly the drinks followed. Food was Great and exactly what we were craving. The service was not what we have experienced at any taco surf location before and was disappointing. Will be back-hopefully the service is...

My friends have been coming here, but it's my first time. The parking area is small and it's one of those pull in right from the street. We came around 8pm on a Saturday. We got a table right away and in the area that we wanted. The restaurant has a nice "typical" surf theme. I liked that they had the windows wide open for ventilation. They played upbeat music-- nothing too loud. Kid friendly (saw some kids sitting over at the next table). They have a QR code on the table so you can use your cellphone to look up the menu. The food tasted really good. We think the serving is pretty big. Prices are comparable to the other slightly higher priced hispanic restaurants. 😉 You've got to try their flan! It was really good. Our server was funny. ...

I was sad to hear about the fire but I am so glad how they came back with a bang. The colourful lighted palms are a great tough outside as are the lights on the fence by the parking. Genius! We had a late Tuesday dinner and yet the staff greeted us like it was 6 pm...very nice! We had the Ensenada Shrimp tacos and a Chile Relleno for him and a Pipeline Shrimp Burrito for me. I wanted to have a burrito as I gauge a place on their burritos. It was very tasty and came with a salsa and a tasty creme sauce. I loved what they did with the walls...they added under the sea photos that surround the whole walls in the restaurant. I think that is way better than the wood walls they used to have. The effect with the lights is supreme. We will come back:)
