Fuji Express — Restaurant in Huntington

We were met with quite the wait, which is understandable considering the state of the world — what better way to break up the monotony of following the ‘rona rules than with a brand new place to get takeout. Fuji Express made this especially easy with a simple online ordering system.

The meal we unpacked onto the coffee table exceeded our expectations tenfold, and it was so good it compelled me to post this review, which is not something I make a habit of. The sushi rolls were incredible. We tried the Huntington and Charleston rolls, each packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The tempura shrimp and crab meat salad in the Huntington roll were decadent. Even the miso soup was better than any I have had locally, simply because the ingredients tasted fresher.

My sister and I decided to get sushi here because of all the great reviews. We were really disappointed. When we walked in it was very humid inside. We ordered our sushi and there was a special going on two rolls for 7.95 (the regular rolls). On one bill we got two regular rolls and two special rolls. We were charged almost 40 dollars. We looked at the reciepts and the special wasn’t there. So she went and talked to an employee. Just a heads up you have to order the sushi a certain way or they won’t apply deals to it. Some of the best sushi I’ve had. Best take-out sushi. It’s as good or better than Taste of Asia’s sushi and is more affordable so why wouldn’t you eat Fuji Express? Personally I recommend any of the special rolls but my personal favorites would have to be the: Volcano Roll Fuji Roll Huntington Roll Godzilla Roll Tokyo Roll
