JAWA Sandwich Shop — Restaurant in Huntington

I had just finished a workout at the planet fitness next door, and I felt a bit hungry I wanted to eat something light and so I saw this sub and pizza place but it looked like it had too much grease and isn’t healthy. So I walked by the other restaurant which happened to be “JAWA” I entered and was curious on what they served, I was greeted by a kind man with a warm greeting. He welcomed me in and I took a look at the menu. After skimming the menu I saw a few items that I wanted to try. The first item I saw that shouted out to me was the “Salmon Panini”. So I went ahead and asked for that sandwich. It was about $16 for the sandwich. When I received the food it was on a wood tray with a sheet of thin paper for food of course, Or it could be for anything. Anyway when I received the food and sat down, I then went ahead and took a bite. let me tell you it was so delicious, warm, and juicy. Loved it! Loved it so much that I ordered another 3 sandwiches for my family to try. My mom, dad and friend tried it and they ate it all and quickly. That’s when you know I’m not the only one that thinks it’s delicious. Try it and comment below on what you got and how you liked it. Also try this place out! FINALLY! Just what this area needed!

Jawa is the casual sandwich place I've been hoping for in this area. There's so many rundown restaurants with mid service, that it's become discouraging for me to want to eat locally. Forget about driving all the way to Old Town for solid good sandwich.

This Jawa location is updated and looks awesome inside. The fresh menu options and ingredients, and the impeccable customer service by the owner, Shawn, and his crew, are noteworthy. I feel like I'm visiting a friend whenever I go in.

I tried the Chipotle Chicken Panini a few days ago and it was love at first bite. I knew I just HAD to go back and try the Pastrami Queen (pictured). The cool pickled onions on both sandwiches were an excellent touch to the crispy sandwiches. The crunchy fries did not hold back either.

The drinks all compliment the food very well, as they're made on-site and refreshing for these hot summer days. Note: Try the strawberry lemonade, thank me later.

Great experiences overall, I'll have to keep coming until I try everything on the menu!

Food is amazing! They prepare and make your food fresh so you dont have to eat a prepared food that was made in the morning. Area is super clean and very simple yet very comforting to be at. Service is fantastic, the owner is the server when I went and bought my food, and when I was asking around at first he gave me free taste test and even gave me free cookie! (btw that cookie was pretty amazing and fresh, reminded me when I was in korea!) As im writing this review, a customer asked if what they have is cookies and apple pastry and he asked her if she wants a cookie to have a taste. Another customer also recommended their food and their service! The price is affordable for what they serve and what you deserve. They have a pretty wide range of menu options so you wouldn’t run out of options. Definitely wished they opened way before because this store is a sure 10/10 in my books! HIGHLY...
