Sunflowers Cafe — Restaurant in Huntington

I recently stopped by Sunflower Café in Alexandria for lunch after seeing some great reviews, and I must say, it lived up to the hype! Located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, it was very convenient to get to. The exterior was clean and inviting, and the inside was spotless—definitely appreciated how well-kept the space is.

Customer service here is top-notch! I was greeted warmly as soon as I walked in, and the staff quickly walked me through the menu. I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich with a side of mozzarella sticks. The ordering process was quick and easy, and I only waited about 10 minutes for my food, which was impressive.

The seating area was comfortable and clean, making it a nice spot to relax for lunch. My food was brought directly to my table, which added a nice personal touch to the already excellent service.

Now, for the food: the steak and cheese sandwich was incredible. The bread was soft with just the right amount of crisp on the outside, and the steak was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The melted cheese and fresh vegetables tied everything together perfectly. It’s one of the best steak and cheese sandwiches I’ve had in a long time! The mozzarella sticks were good as well—I'd give them a solid 7/10.

Amazing! Absolutely perfect. Very cozy cafe and the food was out quickly. I got the pupusas, steak and cheese sandwich, hash brown and the mango peach banana smoothie. They even substituted the sugar for honey and made it less sweet as I had wanted. The two workers are super kind and make you feel very welcomed right when you walk in. First time trying to this place and was excited to see baleadas on the menu, as my kids love these. However, the main ingredient was missing the SCRAMBLED EGGS and we got two orders of it….

All their ordering platform list scrambled eggs as an ingredient when adding to cart thus why we ordered it.

What a severe disappointment as it was the only things my kids wanted and got.
