I looked forward to eating at this restaurant today. I would say that the quality of the food is a mark or two above the usual Chinese restaurants in the Huntsville area. However we came during the lunch time "buffet" not intending to eat from the buffet but rather to just place our order at the table. The "hostess" / "waitress" directed us to a booth and tossed the silverware on the table. She asked what we would like to drink and took off. My water was carried to the table w/o the lemon I had ordered... that really wasn't a problem, as I asked for it and she promptly brought it to the table. But here is where things started to go down... she dropped the lemons on the table (in a bowl) and swiftly left... no order taken... we waited... I'm guessing they automatically assume we are eating from the buffet. We wait, finally after about 10 mins a waitress shows up and asks if we are eating from the buffet or ordering? I told her we know what we want to order and she left us again... came back with menus. I tell her I know what we want and she puts the menu down on the table in front of us and tries to leave again! My husband stopped her and said " we are ready to order " so, she say's, what do you want? I placed my order and she returned with my soup and a bowl of those "fried" noodles of which were stale so when she came back around I asked if she had some that were maybe a little more fresh... she accommodated my request. Our food was brought out to us in a timely manner and it was good. However, when she put our food down on the table she quickly took the fresh fried noodles OFF the table, so quickly that we didn't even notice what she did... until we went to reach for some... GONE... I thought that was a little weird. BUT, at the end of our meal I remarked to our waitress that the food was delicious and sure enough she turned from me without even a smile, completely snubbed me and walked off with a rather rude "attitude" I wondered if she meant to act that way or maybe she just didn't hear me?? So, we go to the register to pay and we stand and wait... when the lady shows up to ring up our food she literally slams the ticket down on the counter, my husband signs for it and then lastly she again wacks the receipt down on the counter and says "want your receipt?" my husband replies "yeah' and we walk out. He turned to me and asked "why do we come here" and I replied because the food is good. I was actually embarrassed because I was the one wanting to go there for lunch. I had been talking about how good it was for a week. Then to be treated in such a way so that I felt insulted, I will from now on consider them marked OFF my list! We have eaten there for the last time. I gave them 1 star because the food was okay. like I said before, maybe a mark above the rest. That's all. Rant Over.

Read moreWatch you take out orders. About every 2 to 3 weeks up by 2 quarts of soup and 2 quarts of fried rice. I stopped by pork fried rice because it’s expensive and there’s hardly any pork in there. I changed to chicken. It’s a little better not as good as it used to be when I first moved here however the other night I bought 2 quarts of pork fried rice and got home and it was shrimp. Yes I know that’s wonderful but not if you don’t like shrimp that is rubbery and reheating shrimp makes it even worse so what I’m saying is pay attention to take out orders. I have ordered sweet-and-sour chicken or they forgot sweet-and-sour sauce and when you call up, you can come back but it’s 20 minutes each way. I’m not coming back. Read moreTypically this place gets 4 or 5 stars. Not tonight. I placed an online order at 5:07pm. I arrived and all the people in front of me received their food (expected), then people who arrived well after me, with much larger orders, received theirs. I inquired about my order at this point and was told "the broccoli takes longer to prepare". What??? I understand they were very busy, and probably understaffed, but I didn't have a large order. Their explanation didn't add up and I wish they would have just acknowledged the fact they likely forgot to start my order when they should have. I'll be back as I love this restaurant but this was a disappointing visit. Edit: I left the restaurant at approximately 6pm.
